I’m tired of these committees acting surprised. Did they really think criminals will provide evidence against themselves?
Your post reminds me of dealing with the county zoning and appraisers’ office.
I naively, though not in so many words, asked the question -
“How do I go about complying with the law to do what you don’t want me to do?”
Answer, again, not in so many words: “I won’t tell you.”
