BILOXI, Mississippi It's been called the nastiest primary in the country. Now you can add allegations of walking around money and vote buying, a Democratic operative nicknamed Scooby Doo, and the testy denials of a Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) ally to the mix.
Rickey Cole, the chairman of the Mississippi Democratic Party, says Cochrans allies are paying Democratic operatives to help get out the vote with a questionable tactic.
Pete Pery the chairman of the Hinds County Republican Party is paying James Scooby Doo Warren thousands of dollars to funnel to black preachers and others to get-out-the-vote for Cochran,

He wouldn't know the difference. As it is, he can barely replicate the talking points his staff gives him, never mind understand them.

I seriously wonder if Chris can win. They’ve got their Republicans + Democrats. And no Dem is going to vote for Chris. Hope I’m wrong.
This is blatant Voter Fraud and those who attempt to disrupt or otherwise corrupt the GOP runoff should be stopped before they vote.

Thad Cochran was a Democrat before he found it expedient to become a Republican. His followers are cut from the same cloth. They are operating the same way that they always have done in Mississippi, only their (R) label is different. That’s why Democrats like him so much.
Thad needs to just become a democrat. No more need to lie about it. The clown doesn’t have an ounce of integrity left.

Anyone that voted in the Democrat primary cannot vote in the Republican runoff. So they are limited to finding Dem voters who did not vote in the primary or voted in the GOP primary AND were registered prior to June 3rd.
Dem Operative: We'll get you da votes Thad. A pack of smokes and a magnum can of Colt 45, per vote and you're set.
