Possible 2016 candidate wades into politically charged issue.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lashed out at opponents of gun control regulations Tuesday, saying they hold a viewpoint that “terrorizes” the majority of Americans.
“We cannot let a minority of people, and that’s what it is, it is a minority of people, hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people,” Clinton said during a live CNN town hall. The comments were Clinton’s deepest foray into an exceedingly controversial political subject since leaving the State Department last year.
“I was disappointed that the Congress did not pass universal background checks after the horrors of the shootings at Sandy Hook,” she said in response to a question from a school teacher in the audience. “I don’t think any parent, or any person should have to fear about their child going to school or going to college because someone for whatever reason, psychological, emotional, political, ideological, whatever, could possibly enter that school property with an automatic weapon and murder innocent children, students, teachers.”
“I will speak out [on this subject] no matter what role I find myself in,” Clinton pledged, referring to her consideration of a presidential bid in 2016.
The outspoken position on gun control legislation is a clear appeal to the overwhelming majority of Americans who support expanding background check requirements before gun purchases, but it’s sure to inflame gun rights activists and the National Rifle Association, which blocked legislation in the Senate last year. It could also backfire by alienating moderate gun owners.
Responding to Sunday’s apprehension of Ahmed Abu Khatallah, allegedly a “key figure” in the 2012 attacks on an American consulate in Benghazi, Clinton said she hoped questioning would reveal more about what happened on the ground on the night of the attack....

Maybe a little off topic but I think the guns and ammo scarcity may be about to end.
In the last two weeks I have gotten emails from my regular dealers including CDNN. They had several brands of .22LR for sale and the prices were only a little too high. They did have a limit of two boxes of each but still the first time in a year or more that these large dealers had .22 for sale.
Also around a week ago the local Wal-Mart had reduced maybe a half dozen guns including Colt ARs and Savage and Ruger bolt actions. They had the Rugers for under $300 and the Savage in .270 for less than $200. I checked back a couple of days ago and they were all gone but also the first time I had seen Wal-Mart not only having but putting on sale, long guns.
The Savage for under $200 struck me as one heck of a deal.
I just saw a “generic” AR-15 at Wally for about $600. Is that a good price?

Ms. Clinton should run on a platform of 100% ban of private ownership of guns in America. That should go well.

The local Wal-Mart had cut the Colt (not sure what model but it was two toned and had a 16” barrel) from around $1200 to just over $800. I will say that it appeared to be a better than average Colt.
I’m getting tired of this “conservatives are terrorists”, “tea party are terrorists”, “gun rights activists are terrorists”, “pro-life movement are terrorists”, etc etc.
Tired of the talk, I want them to actually start trying to treat us as such. Try locking us all up in some gitmo camp. Bring it on. Let’s see how far you can go till the pushback really starts.

Yep, brother picked up a S&W AR this weekend for $650. On another note however, our local bank shut his card down afterwards because they noticed a “suspicious charge”. So that bank BS appears to be catching.
