U.S. housing starts and building permits fell more than expected in May, suggesting the housing recovery will likely remain slow for a while.
Groundbreaking for homes fell 6.5 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual pace of 1 million units, the Commerce Department said on Tuesday.

I need to replace my driveway but the contractor says best not start until he can find someone who has time to deliver concrete. Been waiting several weeks now. Everybody is tied up with new construction. Katy is now the new energy corridor and by the time fall rolls around it’s going to be real crowded out there.
Yep! When commercial construction is booming, residential usually is, too.
Both are off the charts, in TX.
