Rep. Frank Pallone, D-NJ, lies about US men’s soccer team to peddle amnesty

" Rep. Frank Pallone ✔ @FrankPallone

Immigrants are key to America's successes, even in the #WorldCup! Look what the #USMNT would be w/o them. #TimeisNow

6:23 PM - 17 Jun 2014 "

That’s from Rep. Frank Pallone, a Democrat congressman from New Jersey who is co-sponsor of an amnesty bill.

The implication is that the soccer players who are whited out are immigrants. Get it? The U.S. can’t succeed in soccer unless we enact amnesty and a massive increase in legal immigration. The #TimeisNow! Because American-born soccer players suck! Or something.

We’re curious to know why Rep. Pallone thinks Alejandro Bedoya and Omar Gonzales are “immigrants.” Both have Hispanic-sounding names, but they were born on U.S. soil. We certainly hope Rep. Pallone isn’t engaging in racial/ethnic profiling.

Just out of curiosity we decided to take a looksy at the birth places and biographical backgrounds of all 11 of Pallone’s “immigrants”:

Is that man so stupid and/or out of touch as to think that American CARE about soccer at all, the least favorite sport in this country? Pure amazing.

Really; it is like railing about how many people wouldn’t be on the men’s cricket team without Asian imports...(and I like international soccer).

Every time I hear his last name I think of the nasty Italian slang meaning.

NJ politicians have to support amnesty because increasingly wide swathes of NJ would be ghost towns without them; towns without populations don’t political representation; like other government workers (teachers, cops), this ass is supporting amnesty as a means of preserving his income. For all of them, the long-term ramifications are meaningless.

Not to ignore the factual inaccuracy of this guy's statements, but I'm sick of the argument that anyone who wants a rational immigration policy that doesn't lead to rapid demographic shifts, doesn't reward those who illegally enter, and that avoids adding people onto the rolls of ‘government assistance’, is anti-immigration.

If our borders were being flooded with illegals who were likely to vote Republican and be conservative, there would be cries from the MSM and the left for a 30ft. high fence.

The majority of politicians do what they do because it benefits them. Trust none of them. None. Support those who at least state they are for the things you believe in, but don’t trust them either. Yes, this is unfair to some who probably deserve our trust, but a pessimist is never disappointed.
