When the Internal Revenue Service announced late Friday that, somehow, it lost two years worth of emails to and from Lois Lerner, the former IRS official at the center of the agency’s unfair placement of Tea Party and other conservative groups on its secret “Be on the Lookout List,” our thoughts turned to, well, “Saturday Night Live.”
We imagined IRS commissioner John Koskinen explaining to the Church Lady, a character played by the actor Dana Carvey, that a computer crash caused the emails to disappear. That almost certainly would prompt the Church Lady to reply, skeptically, “Well, isn’t that convenient,” as the audience laughed.
We share the view of the nearly 60 percent of Americans who, according to the Gallup Poll, believe that high-ranking IRS officials were aware the IRS had a practice of targeting conservative political groups for greater scrutiny in recent years.
The emails that conveniently disappeared after the alleged computer crash at the IRS might have confirmed those suspicions. And since the Obama Justice Department has shown little interest in getting to the bottom of the agency’s wrongdoing, it should pass off its investigation to a special counsel.

They believe the sheeple are really stupid enough to buy any lie they spread no matter how silly the lie is.
Democrats think all people are as stupid as their supporters.
They don’t care if we believe it or not, they know the “opposition” is impotent.

Have congress do it..... Do what? They haven’t done anything for 9 years that I’m aware of.
Even Republicans thought it was a good idea to let the law expire, as the Democrats abused it with the Scooter Libby non-crime. But no one could foresee the absolute LAWLESSNESS of someone like Obama coming upon the American political scene.
