The controversial panel included two of America’s leading Islamophobes. Could you imagine a panel on Jewish issues featuring Mel Gibson?
Why has hate become a part of mainstream conservatism? We saw an example of this Monday at The Heritage Foundation, a one-time quasi-respected conservative think tank. It appears that those days are gone, as Heritage has now become a platform for people denounced by the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center for their hate-filled rhetoric.
So what happened Monday? You may have read Dana Milbank’s column in The Washington Post about the panel—on the “unanswered questions” around Benghazi—that turned ugly when Saba Ahmed, a law student at The American University and a Muslim, tried to counter what she perceived as the lumping together of all Muslims as being threats to America.
The conservative crowd cheered wildly as one of the panelists, Brigitte Gabriel, lectured the hijab-wearing Ahmed about the threat Muslims posed to America. Gabriel, an immigrant herself, even asked if Ahmed was an American citizen.
Milbank described an appalling scene. (Heritage disputes that it was that awful; Milbank says he was in the room and stands by what he wrote.) What he didn’t do, though, is go into the backgrounds of the panelists—a veritable Dream Team of Islamaphobes, birthers, and conspiracy nuts.
Two of the better-known people on the panel were Frank Gaffney and Brigitte Gabriel. Gaffney is well known for seeing the Muslim Brotherhood everywhere he looks. His anti-Muslim garbage has landed him with his own page on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s (SPLC) website. Gaffney has even tried to ban Grover Norquist, the head of the influential conservative group Americans for Tax Reform, from events. Why? Gaffney claims that Norquist has been infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood. Translation: Grover married an American-Muslim woman....

In 2005, Obeidallah received the first "Spirit of Bill Hicks" award, named in honor of comedian Bill Hicks for "thought provoking comedy" from the NY Underground Comedy Festival and the Hicks’ family. He co-produced with the Emmy Award winning comedy writer and best-selling author Max Brooks a new show entitled The Watch List for Comedy Central's Internet channel. This was the first show ever produced by a major American entertainment company to showcase all Arab-American performers. Obeidallah has also appeared on Comedy Central on the critically acclaimed "Axis of Evil" Comedy special.[3]

Obeidallah is a liar, period. He smears Frank Gaffney who was an Assistant Secy of Defense as well as Bridgitte Gabriel who knows Islam inside and out.
Dana Millbank did his usual hatchet smear job on the conference by deliberately cutting sentences into selective pieces and then using them out of context.
I know whereof I speak as I was a subject of this same smear tactic back when several of us began to expose Obama’s communist/marxist background. Only then, we were compared to an UFO Convention crowd despite the fact that the 4 of use had, between us, over 170 years of experience in Internal Security/Intelligence/Investigative Journalism.
Grover Norquist’s wife was involved in Moslem Brotherhood affairs, with her mother and another relative working directly for them. Fact, not fiction.
The dialogue between Gabriel and Saba Ahmed was actually quite polite, but pointed. That, according to Milbank and Obedidallah, is Islamophobic.
Ahmed tried the old “you insult all Moslems by focusing on the extremists”, but Gabriel replied that it was the extremists who are doing all the killing of Jews, Christians and other Moslems, and must be opposed by all decent people.
Seems that pointing out the obvious truth is Islamophobic by Millbank and Obies’s standards (which seem to be the only standards they have re honesty).
You should be able to view the conference at the Heritage Foundation website. See and listen for yourself, and then do a check-off of what Millbank and Obie said about it (i.e. lied and distorted). It will be an eye-opener, but to those of us in DC, it is just another Wash. Post/Millbank smear job.

Then she spills the beans with “more Muslims should show up at these conservative forums!”

Being around him in a social setting is akin to listening to someone scape their nails across a blackboard. He makes you shudder internally with his dweebish manner and obvious painful discomfort.He literally is afraid of women in the way a 13 year old boy is afraid of them. Desperate for sex and totally clueless as to how to approach the opposite sex. His very attractive wife was, I have no doubt, ordered to make nice with this dweeb and marry him. There us a strong possibility that once the ‘courtship’ began dismal Grover was sat down by the woman's male relations and told to get this fine filly in the sack Grover would have to convert. normally Muslim women do not marry infidels if they want to stay part of their family. You are lucky that some lamestream smearing is all you were subject to. The Mahdi’s ‘Chicago wWay’ boys have broken more than one knee and arranged for a number of hits, including one close enough to Slintoon to get him to warn Hildabeast to take a dive in the primaries, and planted kiddie porn on more than one computer to smooth the way for the Expected One.

The rest of us couldn’t give a shit about Millbank. He stupidly fell into a little trap I set (without knowing that he was there) and he actually promoted my point that Obama was raised in a smothering Marxist environment and that it had to have a major influence on him.

However, long after those first devout Christian settlers were followed to America by tens of thousands and eventually millions of settlers from Great Britain and parts of Europe and America had won it's freedom from England's oppressive rulers, the land our Christian forefathers long ago claimed as a last refuge for God's persecuted people has fallen into the hands of Godless sexual perverts, cruel killers of unborn children, and many other hate filled groups who love sin and hate the one true God and his divine Son Jesus Christ. For those people even the Satanic religion of Islam is far more acceptable than the one and only religion of peace, love, forgiveness, and justice for all people, i.e., biblical Christianity.
Unless God gives America one more chance to revive it's former close relationship with Him we as a nation and as individuals are doomed to eventual destruction and possibly even slavery to worshipers of the Satanic god Allah on a scale unknown before anywhere on this sin-cursed ball of dirt.
