BREAKING: Texas-Led Border Security Surge 'Imminent'
Breitbart's Texas ^ | June 18, 2014 | Bob Price

Posted on 06/18/2014 5:59:50 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

HOUSTON, Texas—State Representative Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) told Breitbart Texas she spoke with Governor Rick Perry’s (R-TX) Office and they confirmed the surge to deal with the Texas border crisis is about to begin. Details are not available at this time, but Riddle said, “It is going to happen.”

Riddle spoke with Governor Perry’s office about the issue and was assured it “is going to be coming soon.” She said Governor Perry’s office is working very closely with Lt. Governor David Dewhurst’s office along with the office of House Speaker Joe Straus.

“They are gathering together everything they need to begin this right away,” Riddle said. She told Breitbart Texas that she could not divulge any information about exactly when, how long, and where the surge would be for reasons of operational security. She also could not disclose what the operational objectives would be at this time.

Riddle said, “We are going to feel this particularly here in the Houston area because of Houston’s role as a command and control center for the cartels--for both their drug and human trafficking operations.” She added that Texas Department of Public Safety Director (DPS) Steve McCraw told her last week that Houston is still the hub for these operations.

Riddle said, “Governor Perry is very angry that the feds are doing nothing about this problem.” She went on to say, “I didn’t expect the feds to do anything."(continued)

Has he called for the impeachment of the guy who swore an oath to "faithfully execute the Laws of the United States" and who has refused to do so?

I live here. Brown is a better option for that phone call.

Brewer has impeded Arpaio at every turn. And backed Barry in the doing. Don’t wait on her. You’ll be disappointed.

Kidding around, of course. But we ought to stick it to the left right back.

There would be no shortage of “Volunteers” who also have their own weapons...

Perry would rather Obamaminate the sacred Texas Border that runs against the hostile Nation of Mexico than call up his own National Guard, send his State Attorney General to the Republican-controlled US House to sue the damn US Federal Government for Border expenses reimbursement due to illegal non-enforcement of existing Federal Border Law by lawless Obama and lawless Holder.

Governor Perry could have sewed up Conservative support for his Presidential Campaign, or Speaker of the US House of Representatives, by standing for TEXAS and standing proud against Obama and Holder.

Ponder this Governor Candy-Ass:

“The Governor of a State shall call up the States’ National Guard if He/She declares a State of Emergency.” [TEXAS Manual of Common Sense Law].

Currently, there is no Federal “Dream” Law allowing for the physical invasion of Illegal Alien “Children” Invaders from Mexico - - - only the “Executive Order” edicts of a demented Obama that no State Governor has yet had the courage to challenge.

The failure of the Feds to repel the Illegal Alien Invaders should in no way deter the States bordering Mexico from physically repelling these Illegal Alien Invaders by any means necessary, including Concertina Wire Barriers, Flash-bang and tear gas canisters launched by mortars as far into Mexico as possible by heavily armed, State National Guard Troops.

Federal Border Laws are not being enforced, at the order of a Demented Obama, and thus The States along the Southern Border must enforce the Federal and State Border Laws that Obama chooses to not obey.

Since Obama has no Constitutional basis for his actions, let him try to enforce his lawless “Executive Orders.”

As with the First Civil War:

STATES’ RIGHTS ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR!

The constitution was written to govern people en marginally conservative. And ‘no other’.

Eventually we will either have 2 countries, them and us,or we will cease to be entirely. Yes I believe that fully.

Speaking as a non-native Texan,,I can say,,wth are you talking about? Do you think Texas is just thriving naturally without any leadership? WTH?!

wow. How discouraging to hear how the oh so perfect here believe Perry can’t possibly do the right thing ever. I suspect all of you Perry haters will be voting for Wendy Davis then...since you’ve determined that Perry hasn’t offered any positive leadership to the state of Texas because he isn’t perfect.

You’re haughtiness is disgusting! I’ll take a Perry over governors of most states, any day of the week! Whichever one of you can do better...then run for office. Otherwise you sound like OFA bots. What is the distinction between your hostile anti-Perry tone and the tone taken by the O-bots?

Perry’s record on the border is disgusting. I’m just a regular heartless purist that expects people to live up to their oath of office...thus you can understand the obvious clash with Ricky.

"Fact remains, you and the others that voted for him gave the COP carte blanche to lurch right, just as we told you they would and exactly as history shows they did. Deny it all you like. It’s a fact."

"That isn’t something you should be proud of accomplishing after losing on top of it."

In retrospect, you folks who were skeptical of Romney were correct in there not being much difference between the GOPe/RINO class and Democrats. I think it's safe to say, if Romney had won, he more than likely would've slowly morphed into the spineless mess we call Speaker Boehner.

With this being said, as bad as RINOs are, they are not Marxists.

We have had six years to watch Obama's relentless destruction of our nation and way of life. Immigration Reform (Amnesty) will be the final blow to our Representative Republic. If I had to do it all over again, I'd vote the same way. We do not live in a perfect world. Like every aspect of our lives, we must deal in reality. In my reality, a RINO is far better than a Marxist who hates the people and the nation.

Sadly, we helped ensure that Romney was our nominee by joining left-wing rags like Politico in trashing each and every one of our candidates...no matter what the flaw. And you know what else? We're going to do the same thing in 2016. No candidate will be pure enough, conservative enough, or perfect enough for us. "They're just not ready for prime-time"..."They need more experience"..."They need to be a Governor first"...blah...blah...blah.

I'm proud of the fact that I tried to stop a Marxist from destroying our country. What are you proud of? Are you proud that by denying Romney a vote, you helped him lose? Are you proud that by helping Romney lose, you aided Obama in winning? It really is quite warped that you folks saw Romney as a bigger threat than Obama.

Here's a fact: we will not recover from the harm inflicted on our nation by Obama. This is something that elections can no longer fix.

Thank you for saving me the search. I appreciate it.

What am I proud of? I am happy to tell you.

I a PROUD of doing my best to live up to the words I post online.

I am PROUD of trying to keep America going in a conservative direction in accordance with the founders plans for it. In what ever way I can.

I am PROUD of not burying my head and playing party over principle politics just as Reagan preached in many speeches.

Now if you can tell me how trying to do the opposite of that is good, right and just, lets hear it. Because Romney is the opposite of everything above. Do you deny it? If you do good luck explaining it. If you don’t WTF are we having this conversation?

Arguably, for the past ten years, Texas has been the best governed state in the union.

I would imagine that the governor deserves at least some of the credit for that...
