Does anybody here know if John Kerry served in Vietnam? I know I read it somewhere once, but I can’t find the reference.

Ha, get it. Yes, he served in Nam after requesting the relative safety of swift boats to get off the ship as a public relations officer IIRC. Then, those boats were re-assigned to go up river where they encountered fire fights from the shore. He got 3 (count them, 3) Purple Hearts while being in Nam on a boat for what? 8 months?

The last Purple Heart he put in for himself for getting a sliver in his arm or butt or something like that. He knew how the system worked and he worked it.

Never forget that he threw his medals over the fence at the White House. Then he testified to Congress what horrible people his fellow shipmates/grunts were. He was as big a traitor as Jane Fonda. Now, we have him as Secretary of State?

I seriously don't recognize our Nation anymore. Thinking about writing a song or poem titled, "Where Did Our Honor Go?" Or, "What Happened? (to honor)", with a country-rock feel. Think Toby Keith (Red, White & Blue).
