Jeb Bush -- A Formidable Candidate for President
The Huffington Post ^ | 06/19/2014 | Lanny Davis

OK, OK. To the Bush family, and particularly to former two-term Florida Gov. Jeb Bush: Don't worry. Let me start, up front, by saying: I would never vote for Jeb Bush for president. He is way too conservative for me.

Now that that's over with, I think Bush is a really good guy -- a good person, good father, good husband, good brother (to my Yale College friend, two-term President George W. Bush) and good son to his great, great dad, former President George H.W. Bush.

Jeb Bush's positions on two issues, in my view, make him formidable against a Democratic presidential candidate in 2016: education reform and immigration policy.

The fact that this rag has nice things to say about “JEB”
Indicates what kind of politician he is.

Whoever runs against this piece of fecal material should use “Jeb Bush -endorsed by Ariana Huffington” as a campaign logo.

Problem is Bush has the financial backing as well as GOPe backing where he could pull it off.

It would be better than Hillary. But not by much.

Waaay too early to be so defeatist. I know it's hard, but try to resist this feeling.

I have to wonder if Jeb, Romney, or any other Pub-Es read FR to gauge conservative sentiment to trial balloons they float with these articles.

We need Jeb photoshopped in a superhero costume. Then he’ll truly be formidable.

George W Bush is both very intelligent and very well educated.

The guy got pretty much straight A s at Harvard as an MBA and they didn't give grades away at Harvard B back then

GWB followed up with 20 years running multiple businesses and capped his career as the best two term Gov Texas has had in my lifetime.

GWB was an outstanding President of the US . He did exactly what he told the country he would and conducted his Presidency with exactly the tone he said he would .

GWB made the fatal error of over estimating the stupidity of the American people and was certain America would not buy the BS the Dems and Media were selling.

He was wrong

GHWB was one of the most consequential Presidents of the 20 th Century and was responsible for the peaceful dissolution of the USSR

He also made the fatal error over estimating the stupidity of the American people and let a lying grifter and lying media beat him in 1992. The world would be a much better place if GHWB had won in 92

Jeb bush was a great Gov in Florida but seems to have lost his way over the last decade. He just does not seem to have the life experience of his father and brother.

I would have loved to have Jeb Bush run in 2016 but some of the crap he has said over the last year or son frankly scares the heck out of me

Unlike GWB and GHWB, I don’t believe that JEB served in the military.
