You have the welfare of America in mind, they have their own welfare (stockholders) in mind.
Stocks have to go up, up, up! And you can’t do that without exports.
Yea, well. Speaking as an American, I do have our wealfare in mind. And no, I wouldn’t expect TPTB to follow such a path. At least not the current bunch of traitors.
