Mr. Speaker, these comments and labels are inexcusable and reprehensible no one should be politicizing the ordeal of these children in such a manner, Mrs. Pelosis office said.

It’s a technical legal term from a time when such things mattered to Democrats.

I wish he would just tell her to...oh, never mind. But I will.

If Boehner was a little more than a vegetable, he would realize this is a good opportunity to slam Pelosi and Obama. Obama has refused to enforce the law and has created this humanitarian crisis.

You can’t call an alien “illegal” or even “alien.” You can’t call a homo “homo.” And it ain’t nice to call a bitch “bitch” or an idiot “idiot,” but sometimes the truth is the truth and it just goes unsaid. But obvious.

Its an old tactic.
(amazon) Language of the Third Reich
In the book Victor Klemperer details how the nazis manipulated the German language as a means of manipulating German society into being more accepting of nazi goals.
Its kind of like the democrats bringing back indentured servitude and calling it a path to citizenship.

The only things “alien” to the wicked woman are the Constitution and US immigration laws...and perhaps a life without botox.

Dear Nancy:
- alien (adj.)
- mid-14c., "strange, foreign," from Old French alien "alien, strange, foreign; an alien, stranger, foreigner," from Latin alienus "of or belonging to another, foreign, alien, strange," also, as a noun, "a stranger, foreigner," adjectival form of alius "(an)other" (see alias (adv.)). Meaning "not of the Earth" first recorded 1920. An alien priory (c.1500) is one owing obedience to a mother abbey in a foreign country.
- alien (n.)
- "foreigner, citizen of a foreign land," from alien (adj.). In the science fiction sense, from 1953.
