Rick Santorum is bringing the nationwide fight over religious liberty to the big screen, and it is chilling.
As the Supreme Court weighs the Hobby Lobby case and activists at the Faith and Freedom Coalitions Road to Majority conference denounce the war on Christianity in America, Christian movie company EchoLight Studios, of which Rich Santorum is CEO, is preparing to release One Generation Away: the Erosion of Religious Liberty. The trailer, above, shows just how seriously Santorum and many fellow conservatives are taking the issue: if the United States continues down a path that erodes religious freedom, the country could be headed toward Nazi Germany
One Generation Away is a documentary-style film slated to release September 1. The film focuses on seven ongoing cases studies of religious freedom across the country: Mt. Soledad in San Diego, wedding service providers in Oregon and Washington, Hobby Lobby, chaplaincy in the military, two education cases with a collegiate counseling program, and high school cheerleaders in Koontz, Texas. The fight to protect our religious freedom is paramount to our countrys future prosperity, Santorum says. Taking that fight to the big screen and impacting the culture along the way allows us to inform on this critical subject in a meaningful and entertaining way.

While Santorum is in the Christian entertainment industry now, I think we are 5 years from outright oppression from liberals. We need to double down on Religious Liberty.
― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
Our courts here in Australia has just struck down chaplaincy in High Schools as paid for by the government as illegal. These services have been provided by Christians on poor wages - usually part time so it is a real sacrifice and they only talk to kids about God if the kid wants it - they are mainly just a non-judgmental adult ear to listen to their problems. The leftie activists could not handle it though - now they are talking about putting psychiatric professionals into the school system at probably 10 times the cost. Thankfully our current government is trying to find ways around the court decision.
They hate Christianity so much that they would rather see kids confused and disturbed than get help from a religious source. They are dreaming if they think we can afford the other option.
Wonderful Solzhenitsyn quote.
So the same is happening in Australia, as it is here? As said in another post, we are well armed, for when they make their move. It really is getting to a point where we need to resist, the odds don't matter anymore.
2nd, LOL, as soon as I saw this type of thread, I immediately looked around to see if you were here with the Solzhenitsyn quote, and sure enough there it was. I agree with it.
Wow, that is a powerful Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn quote.
Yep, that is where I saw it. Thanks.
well Rick, I don’t see any of us giving up our guns, so.....NO
Santorum has served the interests of the political establishhment from the time he was a Senator from my state to his run as a presidential candidate when he was a splitter with Newt Gingrich to help Mitt Romney to win.
If his intention with the film is to use fear as a means to draw us towards supporting him or the Republican Establishment, I want nothing of it.
There is an emerging totalitarianism in this country and I doubt if politics is an ultimate solution or answer to it.
I still participate in politics, but I am not here to be fooled or used again by the fake 95 percent of Republicans like Rick Santorum, Peter King, John Boehner or even my own Congressman Scott Perry of Pennsylvania’s 4th District.
They’ll never take me alive.
It used to be that oppressed people escaped to Australia for freedom. It used to be that people escaped to the United States for freedom. But where do they go now?
Ronald Reagan once said that if America lost the Cold War, there’d be no place left to flee to.
How ironic in today’s America; Soviet missiles are the least of our worries and the Russian Army can’t even beat up on Ukraine.
But your scowling liberal neighbor who doesn’t like your Tea Party emblem & knows you own guns can call down a SWAT raid on your @zz.
“We have met the enemy and he is us.”
It ends well. The believers spend eternity in paradise. The evil ones spend eternity in the Lake of Fire.
