On Friday, Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina called on the United States to pass a comprehensive amnesty bill with more guest-worker visas to ease the border crisis.
Vice President Joe Biden traveled to Guatemala to meet with Molina and other Central American leaders to discuss the "humanitarian crisis" at the border. The Department of Homeland Security said that from October of last year to June 15, "52,000 unaccompanied children have been apprehended along the Southwest border." In addition, from October of 2013 to the end of May, there have been "39,000 adults with children" who have also been detained. Most of those illegal immigrants have come from Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.
We propose
the possibility of organizing temporary work programs," Molina said, according to pool reports, of legislation the the Congressional Budget Office determined would lower the wages of American workers. Obviously, we believe the solution to all of this is immigration reform."

American People to Guatamala President: your children ran away from you. When can we expect your planes to retrieve them? P.S. Your child-care bill so far is over 10 million. Please bring that on the first plane. Don’t forget the diapers! Love, America.
Why don’t you clean up your corrupt banana republic and keep your people there?

Madness.
Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina can BITE ME!!!!!
KISS MY A** AND GO TO HELL.
Why would Guatemala, Mexico, and others want to give up their “dreamers”? We’ve been told that the people crossing into the United States illegally are all hard-working entrepreneurs just waiting to create the next Google or Facebook. Why wouldn’t the governments of these want to keep these people for themselves? Hmmmmm. They wouldn’t be trying to dump their garbage on us, now would they?
Yep, that’s what a six month old needs. A work visa.
Actually, it seems to me that a guest worker program combined with strict border control and enforcement for over-stayers wouldn’t be all that bad.
The problem is that there are no honest parties in this discussion. Dems want dreamers, anchor babies, and whole families becoming citizens and clients. Some big ag-businesses want cheap help, with hidden costs (health, education, etc) shifted to the taxpayer at large. And, our neighboring governments want both population relief at home and foreign remittances.
So, you could get an enhanced (i.e., easy) guest worker program with no enforcement out of this mess—with the US populace, especially the core, patriotic working portion—taking the shaft.
Deal?
how about no
we don’t have to accept lawbreakers
this is a country of laws not men supposedly
FlJoePa to Guatemalan President: GFY
Nuke Guatemala Now!
Bingo!
How about telling this Mafioso what a disgrace his country is and to tend to his own backyard. The American middle class taxpayer has had it up to their eyeballs with the members of the illegal alien free sh** army.
I’d give the tin horn dictator a choice, either you stop shipping your younguns to our border immediately or we empty our Super Max prisons at yours. Then I’d station National guard troops at ours with orders to refuse with force if necessary invaders attempting to cross.
CC
Exactly. All the illegals can join him.
One American to Guatemala: Bite me. GFY, over and over.
