Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has endorsed Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne's re-election campaign.
The sheriff said Monday that he endorsed Horne because he's impressed with his record as attorney general, particular his efforts to confront illegal immigration.
Horne faces former Arizona Department of Gaming director Mark Brnovich in the GOP primary.

This is the witness making the accusation that Tom Horne is illegally coordinating outside spending.
What is that a picture of?
Horne is dead meat.... too many personal issues. Brnovich has a much better chance of beating Rottelini and we need to keep that position to fight the Feds in the coal war.
Brnovich worked for the Goldwater Institute; a great freedom and states’ rights advocate.
Sarah Beattie the McCainiac who says Horne is a bad guy.
A lot of good people are also for Brnovich.
Omitted from the onslaught, but vital to the truth, is the fact that Sarah Beattie previously worked as an Executive Assistant to John McCain. Beattie has also worked for Jeff Flake and Bill Montgomery.
These establishment elites, along with chief choreographer Jon Kyl, are all in the tank for their recruited challenger, libertarian-leaning Mark Brnovich —- a man of extraordinarily poor judgment who even saw fit to donate to liberal Pete Rios in one of the Democrat’s previous legislative campaigns.

I liked Horne when he came on the scene several years ago and voted for him but he’s a screw up. Get rid.
