“NoN-Technical 50 year olds......”

Well, I think that the point is that, say, 35 years ago, VERY few people in proportion to the general populace use,d or even more, got their hands on or even IN a computer. Now, even the average young person on the street understands technology at least on a conceptual level. Heck, 12 year olds assemble them.

I have worked in technology so long, that I was somewhat surprised at how technically inept my 50-ish classmates were at a recent high school reunion.

See my other post. There are a much higher percentage of non-technically astute 50 year olds than 25 year olds, simply because when 55 year olds were in their early 20’s, how many of them had their hands on or even IN a computer?

” put her under oath, and have her supply names of who she sent them to.”

That was already done. She pled the 5th Amendment.

Time to throw Lois Lerner in jail for contempt until she talks.

The 70-ish crowd is even worse! ;-)

She pled the 5th after testifying on her own behalf as pointed out by Trey Gowdy at the time. Lerner has been charged with contempt of congress. Throw her in jail until she cooperates.

The story was linked from Drudge, and I believe it was posted on yahoo too. Hence the high number and mostly conservative shots. Politico would never generate 21000 comments on their own.

When I was in the business, I called them "people of a certain age".

They just flat-out don't understand how to think in "computer", and they won't ever learn.

It has something to do with early exposure & learning.

I call the youth of America "the video children". "Give it to a video child - he/she will fix it."

Often, without be able to explain exactly why.

Which of those would you consider “nontechnical”?

Given the idiots in the GOPe it would not surprise me one iota if they were colluding with the White Hut. I bet the Pubbies don’t really want to find those emails either.
Reminds me of my Siberian Husky, she loved to chase the neighbor’s cat but she never really wanted to catch it cuz she knew the cat would rip her a new one if she did.

Are republican congresspeople happy to have the IRS put down the TEA party?

Of course they are...

The GOP fears the TEA party and the Dems hate what the TEA party stand for...

Strange Bedfellows...

None are non-technical. I was razzing another poster for writing that someone 50 years old could easily be deceived (non-technical), unlike the young who would understand the technical information and see through the deceit.
