Volunteer researchers have uncovered mass graves in a South Texas cemetery that they believe contain the bodies of immigrants who died crossing into the U.S. illegally, according to published reports Saturday. The discovery at Sacred Heart Burial Park in Falfurrias came in the last two weeks, as Baylor University anthropologist Lori Baker and Krista Latham, a forensic anthropologist at the University of Indianapolis, and their students worked as part of a multi-year effort to identify immigrants who've died in the area near the U.S.-Mexico border.
Teams unearthed remains in trash bags, shopping bags, body bags or without a container at all, according to the Corpus Christi Caller Times. In one burial, bones of three bodies were inside one body bag. In another, at least five people in body bags and smaller plastic bags were piled on top of each other. Skulls also were found in biohazard bags placed between coffins

So now Texas is supposed to give the criminals private burial plots??? There is no end to the curse of having a southern border.
Obama ought to have to dig the graves himself, George Bush , too. The fruits of their labors.
The only decent thing to do would be to return their remains to their home country to be properly buried there with the dignity and respect they deserve. Nah. The Mexican government wouldn’t go for that.
Their families deserve to know what happened to them at the very least; this has been going on for a very long time apparently. Our media that has such compassion for the Guantanamo detainees spits on the graves of these nameless people. Hoe many of them have been murdered? Mix a little “tea baggers bounty hunting” angle into the story and there’d be an explosion of interest.
Brooks county is 98% brush. When they die in the brush, sometimes the hogs, coyotes, and vulture get them. Thats if the human coyotes dont chop them up first. The women get raped. The coyotes leave their panties on mesquite trees a trophies. Maybe Brian Williams or Christina Amporour could come down here and check it out.
They were supposed to let them know that it is against the law to enter this country illegally, it is dangerous to do so in this primitive, unsupported manner, then had Obama, Holder, McCain and Jeb Bush come down, hand them shovels and say, “dig until you drop.”
More propaganda from the “illegally entering is an act of love” crowd. If they had stayed home they probably wouldn’t have died.I have no more sympathy for them than I’d expect Mexicans to have for me if I died illegally entering *their* country.
This is the cost of not controlling the border. The consequence of encouraging foreigners to come here illegally.
Could be that it was family that buried them there in the first place. Do we know that they were all buried at the same time, or was it the same spot multiple times? Perhaps illegals use this spot to bury their own. Or maybe cartels buried victims there?
Just some random thoughts.
I think in Mexico you would be lucky to end up buried in a dump if you’re buried at all.
The Mexican politicians would have made sure you’d know you aren’t welcome so you would have been smart enough to stay out.
It’s a story about a funeral home “Funeraria del Angel Howard-Williams”.
“”Brooks County Chief Deputy Benny Martinez said the funeral home charges $450 to handle each body. County Judge Raul Ramirez said the funeral home had been handling such remains for at least 16 years. Chief Sheriff’s Deputy Lorenzo Benavides in neighboring Jim Hogg County said the practice has been going on there as long as he can remember, at least 22 years.
A message left Saturday at Howard-Williams was not immediately returned. The funeral home referred the newspapers’ questions to its parent company, Houston-based Service Corporation International.””
The more questions the better to focus as much attention as possible on this travesty and sacrilege. This amounts to a Potters’ field of course, but where are the churches who are encouraging peple to rush up here into this kind of jeopardy.
again, from that standpoint it’s a potter’s field approach which is understandable. But from the US government which winks at the contempt shown for its laws, there is a far higher level of accountability.
Well...Ok. Then what happens?
You stuff this story in the face of anybody who pretends they’re being compassionate when they talk about amnesty. It’s the way they make themselves feel morally superior, and this travesty introduces what’s called cognitive dissonance.
As far as I know, potter’s fields use coffins and have official burials.
