It really doesn’t feel like 25 years this October that I, just off the emigrant boat from Ireland, stood in the crowd outside the Old Bailey and caught the most fleeting glimpse of Gerry as he emerged. And no one ever did pay either for his criminally false conviction or for being the real bombers. Not that it isn’t well known who was actually responsible in both cases.. Rest in peace.
My daughter was on an Aer Lingus flight from Boston to Ireland and when Gerry Adams got on the plane in Boston there was applause.
