What?

Yes, Hillary really said that. In an interview with The Guardian, Clinton, addressing a question about how the couple’s reported $100 million-plus income since leaving the White House might mix with rhetoric about income inequality, said the following:

“But they don’t see me as part of the problem,” she protests, “because we pay ordinary income tax, unlike a lot of people who are truly well off, not to name names; and we’ve done it through dint of hard work,” she says, letting off another burst of laughter.

Hillary is still “down with the struggle,” except at a slightly higher level than most.

Unfortunately as Hillary fails, we probably wind up with a candidate more difficult to defeat in the Nov election.

Clintons use loophole to avoid estate tax they helped create

By Leonard GreeneJune 17, 2014 | 2:27pm

Not bad for a couple of “dead broke” people.
Penny-pinching probable presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her former leader-of-the-free-world husband, Bill Clinton, have apparently grown quite attached to their money.

Despite being self-described paupers on their way out of the White House, the Clintons managed to sock away so much that they now want to shield their wealth from the dreaded estate tax they enthusiastically supported before striking it rich.
“The estate tax has been historically part of our very fundamental belief that we should have a meritocracy,” Hillary Clinton said at a December 2007 appearance with billionaire investor Warren Buffett.

But according to Bloomberg News, the Clintons have employed a variety of financial strategies designed to help shield multimillionaires from the estate tax, a levy paid by a person who inherits money or property.

All democrats are poor, especially when you don’t count the houses.

NYT Published: July 23, 1992

“Today, after 16 years in office, Mr. Gore, Gov. Bill Clinton’s running mate, finds himself still one of the least wealthy members of the Senate. Not counting his two houses, one near Washington and another in Carthage, Tenn., Mr. Gore and his wife have assets worth $153,000 to $345,000, according to Mr. Gore’s latest Senate financial disclosure statement, filed in May.”

I used to be pessimistic like this.

I think 2016 is going to be a good year for the conservative nominee. Granted, there will be challenges. A dumb down electorate for one. After eight years of BHO and his Democrat party, the public is becoming more and more educated on the pitfalls of big government.

Do you think they'll believe a Hillary Clinton, Warren, or De Blasio is what is needed to fix all this?

I may remember wrong, but during the 1992 campaign I remember the media treating Quayle as the rich kid, but when the two tickets released their personal financial statements, that he was the only one who was not a millionaire of the 4, (HW, Clinton, and Gore and Quayle).

At one point we also learned that Bill’s modest $35,000 salary as governor, was supplemented by $35,000.00 annual cash that the legislature gave him, for his personal management, that I remember as amounting to a hidden salary.

NYT Published: February 5, 1992
“Mrs. Clinton’s career has produced most of the family’s wealth. She is not required to disclose her income, and Mrs. Clinton would not answer questions on the subject. But press reports in Arkansas, based on the Clintons’ tax returns, said her law firm salary for 1989 was $92,000. The couple’s net worth is between $350,000 and $1 million, according to Mr. Clinton’s report to the Federal Election Commission, which requires only that assets and liabilities be listed in ranges. Broad Financial Support

Their holdings include bank accounts, bonds, mutual funds and investment partnerships. The largest asset is Mrs. Clinton’s share of her firm’s profit sharing and retirment plan, valued between $100,001 and $250,000.”

Well here’s the challenge.
The “blue wall” is at 242 evs.
Those are evs that have gone Dem 6 times or more consecutively.

The only thing beyond that needed is Ohio or Florida.
Both places where Dems have shown remarkable ability for voter fraud, despite both having R governor and SoS.

LOL-

Actually the Clintons, the O’bummer’s, harry reid, Pelosi-

They think of them selves as POOR- because of AL Gore!-

Look at his global warming scam- last I heard
(before his divorce) he was worth 300 MILLION!

so the biggest loser/fraud - is Richer than all the others.

and that makes them poor (and jealous)

Good point...and needs to be looked at very carefully by the Republicans....which is why they are so panicked about demography.

A few thoughts on the blue wall, though.

Pennsylvania is in that blue wall—and I think it CAN be penetrated. He was unable to get to 52% of that vote. Pennsylvania Republicans COULD try and break up their electoral votes by congressional district—which would avoid it going ALL DEMOCRAT...or, they could pour more money into GOTV efforts.

Same with Minnesota. Obama’s win of that vote declined by about 2% from ‘08 to ‘12...from 54% to 52%...so I think that that is “doable”....

Wisconsin may be waking up too, as witnessed by Scott Walker.

I don't think they have a really strong candidate to fall back on. The looney left wants to draft Fauxcahontas!

Who is there? Biden? Cuomo? George Clooney?

Same with PA. zero only won 8 out of 67 counties in PA but they were the "right" counties. Hence, the dems don't have to massive voter fraud everywhere, just certain precincts, in certain counties, in certain states.

Filthadelphia is the key to PA though most of the state wants nothing to do with it.

In many precincts Romney supposedly didn't get 1 vote. Not a single illiterate crackhead being paid to vote multiple times accidentally voted incorrectly. Not one.

In many cases Republican poll watchers were assaulted and forcibly thrown out of polling places.

if the GOP has any sense they will put their resources into getting out the voters concentrating on those areas and working to combat voter fraud.

Fauxcahontas

If a guy named Hussein from Kenya with the most liberal voting record in the Senate can get elected, an all-American gal from Oklahoma should have a pretty easy path.
