The Man Who Broke the Middle East
Politico ^ | June 22, 2014 | Elliott Abrams

There’s always Tunisia. Amid the smoking ruins of the Middle East, there is that one encouraging success story. But unfortunately for the Obama narratives, the president had about as much as to do with Tunisia’s turn toward democracy as he did with the World Cup rankings. Where administration policy has had an impact, the story is one of failure and danger.

The Middle East that Obama inherited in 2009 was largely at peace, for the surge in Iraq had beaten down the al Qaeda-linked groups. U.S. relations with traditional allies in the Gulf, Jordan, Israel and Egypt were very good. Iran was contained, its Revolutionary Guard forces at home. Today, terrorism has metastasized in Syria and Iraq, Jordan is at risk, the humanitarian toll is staggering, terrorist groups are growing fast and relations with U.S. allies are strained.

You can’t just blame Obama - Cameron and the UN all need to take their fair share of blame. They should have known, they did have info on this group, but even if they didn’t creating a vacuum in the ME and then hoping for a good outcome is dumb dumb dumb at best!

The man who broke the Middle East was an American president, and a Democrat, but his name wasn’t Barack Obama.

If they’re wrong in every single prediction they make, why is it they’re still considered “experts”?

I think we can blame Muhamad for most of the middle east’s problems.

Obama shares most of the blame because he degraded himself and the nation by dropping basic US principles as former LEADER of the free West. He turned every possible option into a rhetorical just and nobody has taken him seriously since 2009.
Like it or not, the world looks to America to at least try to lead them (us) out of darkness and into progress. He blamed Bush up until last week and now he is out of excuses. This mess is his doing because his conceptual understanding of how the REAL world (not the world of a community organizer) works. 15 minutes after meeting Obama for the first time Vladimir Putin had already sized him up a one of the biggest fools America ever put into the White House and what we are witnessing now is that assessment being played out in the most bloody way. Thank you Mr. President for being the court jester.

He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps

Holy crap.. This is POLITICO blaming the Clown?

Is this a one-off?

Is this to cover for Hitlery, and her hand—you know, “Let’s blame Obama and not Hildabeast....she is the future now,” kind of thing?

Is this a mere nod to a single conservative writer?

Surprising piece from Politico reflecting the fact that the Middle East was at piece when Obama was first elected.

But according to Obama and his lapdog press the current mess in the Middle East was started by republicans.

It's not that he has started a new Cold War, he has neglected to snip this new Islamic Jihad war (a Medieval one) in the bud. He can't act because of three reasons:

1) Conceptually, he can never be GW Bush
2) He won the Noble Peace Prize
3) He's ideologically crippled

Either way, Iraq will fall (because Obama is busy stipulating conditions for help) and then they will set their sights on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Now, Jordan's King Hussein (yep, same name as the US President) is sh**ting bricks because the US is his main ally too and he knows what THAT'S worth after US debacle after debacle. Jordan will have to rely on her Western neighbor Israel to help her out. Isn't it great that the Israelis did not WITHDRAW from the West Bank and Jordan river during the Oslo Peace Process as they were asked to do by the world?

If Jordan is attacked and the US does not slam dunk the ISIS nut cases, it's all over. Israel will be their last pin to bowl over but I got news for ISIS, Israel will be forced to kill them all in one fell swoop with a ______ bomb.

I’m astounded that Politico would actually permit an article that reports that Obama has been such a dismal failure regarding foreign policies.

It was obvious to most of the world that he would be a failure, when he did the “apology” tour of many countries shortly after becoming Prez and proclaiming an “Arab Spring” (which seems to have been code to terriorists that he would provide them aid).

http://nation.foxnews.com/gaza-flotilla-raid/2010/06/01/obama-friends-bill-ayers-code-pink-top-activists-behind-gaza-flotilla

While Obama’s friends Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, and Code Pink’s Jodi Evans (an Obama Bundler) were in Egypt stirring up trouble and trying to cross into Gaza, John Kerry wrote a letter to Egypt urging the support of a “Humanitarian delegation from Massachusetts”.

The Egyptian Revolution began January 25, 2011

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_Revolution_of_2011

On June 24, 2012, Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohamed Morsi is declared presidential winner of Egypt’s election.

Mohamed Morsi’s wife is active in the Muslim Sisterhood as is Hillary’s girlfriend, Huma Abedin’s, mother.

Then the Benghazi, Libya attack on our Ambassador’s, sub-station involved running guns from Turkey to fight the Syrian government. A government that has always opposed radical Islam.

All of this is fomented by leftists and billed as non-violent overthrow.

Look at this OTPOR logo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otpor!

OTPOR is still in existence and teaches non-violent overthrows of governments, they were represented at Occupy Wall Street.

Since the Bolshevik Revolution, the clenched fist has been the left’s most visible symbol. In the ‘60s, it adorned posters and buttons and was adopted as a symbol of revolution by SDS, the black power movement, feminists and other Trotsky wannabes here and abroad. Now, it’s been resurrected by some in Occupy Wall Street. The symbolism couldn’t be more fitting. Fists are for smashing (institutions and traditions), bashing (heads) and pounding (square pegs into round holes).

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2845996/posts

These same people that support non-violent overthrows of oppressive governments also support Anonymous, Occupy Wall Street, Arab Spring, Day of Rage, and a mess of others I can’t remember right now.

They say it is about income inequality and almost all of them have been teaching in our schools, Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Obama, Morsi taught at California State University Northridge, Noam Chomsky, Francis Fox Piven.

And it is working, outsourcing, open borders, green initiatives, laws created or ignored by government agencies (EPA, DOJ, FDA), executive orders. The middle class is dying while the low-skilled worker’s salary is increasing through union infrastructure projects.

So yeah, Obama definitely had a hand in all this unrest.
