"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792 |

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams |

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

Chief among "greenhouse gasses" is CO2. When arguing gloBULL warming with eco-nuts who want to argue how bad it is for the environment, I ask them if it's the same CO2 plants use for photosynthesis, a byproduct of which is oxygen. They usually shut up after that, and if not, I make it a point to make them look as ridiculous as possible to the gathering crowd.

I would love to hear from all Freepers.Tell me if u have seen any change in your summers over the last 30 or so years.I have lived in Florida since 1990, No Change In Our Summer Weather Patterns!! Average day between 85-95, from June thru October.

I wonder if and how we can make States like Massachusetts and the EPA will compensate us for lost industry and economic opportunity they cost us when it all turns out that our impact upon their climate has been negligible.
This is basically like a costing us a huge sum of money on the grounds that we have to do something to keep from injuring him then finding out that what he demanded was completely ill-relevant all together and that he was never injured in the first place. You would expect that false accuser to pay us for what he cost us under false pretense.

Tell me if u have seen any change in your summers over the last 30 or so years. I noticed a sharp decrease in summer temperatures in 2001, compared to the 30 years before that.
Oddly enough, that coincides with the year I moved from south Texas to Maine.

When the IPCC data and the very data set Al Gore used is increased in resolution, it clearly shows that CO2 LAGS warming by 800 years and there for CO2 is not a function of warming, but is a result of it.
Gore and these aholes have decreased the resolution of the data set to foist their BS on the populous.

Al Gore is hoping that the frozen apalation mountains in Alaska melt this august to prove his point., and along with the center of the earth(hell)that is burning at 10 million degrees will cause the sea-level to rise 13 feet.

I’m sure they’re trying to figure how how they can secretly melt mountains. They love to cheat.

“I would love to hear from all Freepers.Tell me if u have seen any change in your summers over the last 30 or so years”
I have noticed a dramatic change in the last 10 years, here in Kansas.
Namely, whenever it gets really hot, anybody under 25 years old believes that it is somehow unusual, extreme, unheard of, etc. Seriously, people are being brainwashed into thinking miserably hot weather never used to happen.
The ease with which the brainwashing has occurred is terrifying.
