1. Find out what country they are from
2. Put each group of them on a bus
3. Take them to the nearest city that has their consulate
4. Repeat
Exactly. Let the embassies take care of their kids. Maybe then there would be some urgency back in their home countries to get a hold of the parents.
That is an excellent plan. We can’t send the “kids” home, but we can send them to the next best place. Their embassies.
I read your recommendation of taking them to the consulate and I called my US rep. There is a guy in his smaller office that will actually talk to me for 15 minutes and when I gave him the idea of taking them to the embassies he LOVED it. he said that he would hang up from me and call the Washington office I said let’s hang up.
The way he put it was fly them to DC and take them to the embassies there. It would stop real quickly.
Please call your US rep with this and see if we can get this ball rolling. :)
