Yeah, whatever.

Unless and until someone A) gets demoted B) gets fired C) gets charged with criminal violations of the law D) goes to jail — what difference does it make whether Gowdy “owns” him?

Failure to obey the law, follow the law, violate the law - call it whatever you want to but the IRS did it and they think it’s big joke. Tell me, other than getting a stern talking-to by Trey Gowdy which of the A, B, C, or D above is going to happen to this guy? Koskinen will go home, keep his cushy job and pension, and will just have to live with the fact that Darrel Issa doesn’t like him very much.

Exactly. It would take much more money to fire him than I it would to just give him his pension and let him go.
