Climate change is likely to exact enormous costs on U.S. regional economies in the form of lost property, reduced industrial output and more deaths, according to a report backed by a trio of men with vast business experience.
It was commissioned by the Risky Business Project, which describes itself as nonpartisan and is chaired by former New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, former Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr. and Thomas F. Steyer, a former hedge fund manager.

Ding ding ding ding ding Ding Ding ding ding a ding ding a ding a dinga ding ding dinnnnng!
Gotta justify why the lower and middle class must face a decline in their standard of living so the wealthy can enjoy their “green” utopia.
“the Risky Business Project,”
ahahahahaha
surely this must be a JOKE!!
the foolish men built their house upon the sand...
Wow. Yahoo News comment sections are usually dens of libscum. Comments on this junk are nearly 100% pure ridicule though.
Lost jobs: How many businesses have been shut down because of emissions criteria which make no sense, considering that AGW is and was a fraud?
How have those closed businesses (I'm including electrical generating stations, here) impacted Americans and their cost of living?
How much tax money has been diverted to support businesses which supposedly will directly impact the release of CO2 into the atmosphere, which have subsequently failed?
How much debt has the United States incurred to handout such grants and loan guarantees?
That's just a warmup, but policy has consequences, and policy based on false pretenses is doomed to be bad policy, especially when it devastates the economy of a nation that should otherwise be rebounding.
These guys make their money off arbitrage and theft.
Bloomberg. Anything in there about gun control?
Climate change has been happening for 4 billion years on Earth. It’s unstoppable and natural.
Well, in fairness, the article has a picture of Wall Street multi-millionaire and Bush appointee Hank Paulson, and the Libs Pavlov-like hate-filled response to seeing him probably overrides their still knee-jerk, but less hate-based, response to blindly defend Global Warming taxes and regulations.
Crony government at its best!
More BS.............yawn.
Loony Bloomberg who blamed the Times Sq. bombing on some obese white man bitter over Obamacare.
What a joke.
Billion dollar nannystater and rotund idiot.
Non-partisan??? All three of these guys are major democrats and big donors to that party and all things leftist. What an absolute joke AP has become!
Bloomie is about as “non-partisan” as the ocean is dry.
RHODIUM MONEY MEN TALLY HOW MUCH MONEY THEY CAN LOOT FROM GULLIBLE LIBTARDS AND OTHERS WHO THINK MAN CAN CONTROL THE SUN.,...... THE PRIME DRIVER OF THE WEATHER AND CLIMATE... scumbags and hucksters one and all.... go sell some snake oil

Reminds me of the OMB, or whatever office it is that checks the assumed costs and accuracy of proposed laws for Congress...
It sounds so non-partisan and authoritative.
Well-hidden secret: It is not allowed to question, change or challenge any of the assumed proposed sources of revenue 20 years into the future.
If the proposed bill quotes Obama as saying that the "shortfall" will be made up by "other savings" or by selling official DNC kites, that premise must remain unchanged. Even if generated by a gang of drunk fools.
Or salt?
Or 32 oz containers of soft drinks?
