federal judge struck down Indiana's ban on same-sex marriage Wednesday in a ruling that immediately allows gay couples to wed.

U.S. District Judge Richard Young ruled that the state's ban violates the U.S. Constitution's equal-protection clause because it treats couples differently based on their sexual orientation.

"Same-sex couples, who would otherwise qualify to marry in Indiana, have the right to marry in Indiana," he wrote. "These couples, when gender and sexual orientation are taken away, are in all respects like the family down the street. The Constitution demands that we treat them as such."

Really? I see nowhere in the Constitution where it says the definition of words must be ignored. "When gender is taken away" - well you can't do that. Husband is a male. Wife is a female. No marriage without a husband and a wife. It's reality. The judge must explain how a woman can be a husband, and a man can be a wife, to justify this ruling. Is anyone filing briefs in these cases even making this most basic argument?

Though it cannot be proved in scripture, I honestly believe the North America continent will be almost completely destroyed by a combination of geological events.

The New Madrid Fault, the Yellowstone Volcano, the San Andreas Fault, and the East Coast Vault area all areas that, if they go at the same time or even separately but close in time, could effectively destroy the nation.

It's a lot easier to lie to people when you're using anti-concepts (words that don't have any real meaning). The most recent example is "social justice". But there's also old and tried-and-true anti-concepts such as "greed" and "selfishness". Other anti-concepts are "extremist" and "moderate".
