So they took the pirates back to the Russian ship, then placed them aboard their original ship, and then blew it up? Doesn’t look very efficient.

I suspect the Russians wanted to search the pirate’s boat for any goodies before they blew it up.
The pirates are both Black and Muslim. That means that we practically worship them in America.

The bottom line works for me.
They didn’t need to understand Russian and the Russians didn’t need to understand Somalian.
But the message was received loud and clear and if nothing else, one ‘Pirate Crew’ will no longer be a plague on the ‘Seven Seas’.
The only thing I’d do differently is use bacon grease for ignition. I know, I know, it’s precious bacon grease; however, the global impact is well worth the sacrifice.
