Truthfully, white neighborhoods in Chicago are almost as safe as anywhere else in the country. Out of 3-400 murders in Chicago last year less than 10% were of non-Hispanic whites.
Not sure where you got that idea, but Baltimore, Miami, Atlanta, New Orleans, Washington D.C., and even Buffalo have higher shootings per capita than Chicago.
Oh sure, all of Chicago’s museums and other businesses dependent on the tourist trade just magically stay profitable even though nobody comes to patronize them.
Fair enough, then one of the highest, but even then it is too high.
