I'm just hoping this is a wake-up call to the diehards out there who have steeped themselves in denial election cycle after election cycle, telling themselves things will be different this time, they won't get screwed over starting election night, that this time 'their guy' wasn't lying to them--again.

Here's an establishment 'pubbie who enlisted the aid of Liberal Democrats under false pretenses, no less, to defeat a Conservative.

If that doesn't draw the battle lines for them, I don't know what will.
