You know -- Grove City, Hillsdale and the like...
Hey Charles and David, what about funding Christian schools? Many students who want a Christian education cannot afford to attend.
Brooklyn College?
I have read that public schools in NY are now graduating a much higher percentage. Good for them. The problem is that they were just never given much of an education. I am sure Brooklyn College can do the same for them.
Textbook example of ‘Stuck on Stupid’
I’d like to see them pick some of the best and brightest inner city kids and pay for them to go to places like Grove City, Hillsdale, etc.
Its really the only hope there is for the inner cities because a percentage of those kids will want to bring something back to the inner city but with a conservative bent.
“Many students who want a Christian education cannot afford to attend.”
So? And give them a handout? Man, FR used to be a conservative site. I thought that concept of freebies’ runs contrary to Christian teachings. God provides and God’s last name ain’t Koch.
“Brooklyn College Turns Down $10 Mil from Koch Brothers, Will Go On Taking Taxpayer Money”
The Koch brothers are stupid to try to waste money on that failed mess. They are lucky it was turned down.
Why don’t they use their money to support good conservative institutions?
That's the supreme irony in all this. Charles and David Koch really aren't that conservative. Sure, they support a number of conservative causes, but they also support liberal causes like gay marriage and legalization of pot.
This article simply highlights the fact that the Left has taken two people who aren't remotely the conservatiev puppet masters that they are made out to be, and demonized them to create support. Its Orwellian.
Said the one conservative professor left in that “Nue Yuk Sh*y Collective of Academented”:
“Do the recordings contain the students threat to urinate on the classroom floor? If so, then does Dean Hopkins believe that professors should encourage their students to urinate in the middle of a crowded classroom?”
Daniel Greenfield opined “At CUNY, urinating in crowded classrooms is an important form of self-expression.”
From the above, we can now say why the EPA has employees defecating in the hall.
As the twig dumps, so does the tree.
But those are humans, not trees said the Libtard.
Block head humans, I say.
Absolutely!
If George Soros or John Kerry wanted to give me a check for $10,000,000, I'd take it and cash it, I'd even say thank you.
Next time a liberal professor talks about the importance of “diversity” as them how many Conservatives they have on their staff
Very true. They should use the money to subsidize conservative schools, where it would be appreciated and open up opportunities to train more people who aren’t hostile to charity or reality.
Hey, they should talk to Lawrence O’Donnell.... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3172246/posts
Give me the money. I’ll put it to better use than some liberal college.
Brooklyn College is part of the city university system - once the jewel in the crown of New York City education. Many Jewish writers and intellectuals who were denied entry at Harvard and Yale came through this system. My father went to Queens College.
It is now a multi-culti hellhole. When I was a kid, Hunter College (female only) was something to aspire too. It’s now a disaster although a nice city campus/street scene.
And when the college runs out of money to fund birth control for Ecuadorean immigrants who will they blame? The Koch Brothers.
Wish the Koch Bros would stop throwing pearls before swine.
Plenty of decent places to donate and do good for those who would appreciate it too. Flux lieberal Institutions in education who are simply demented anyway. Waste of good treasure.
And sometimes FR reminds me of a Dickensian fun fair!
If the Koch’s are trying to buy ‘leftist good will’ there’s only one word of advice that suffices.....
‘FAHGEDABOUDIT......
