KYIV, June 26 /Ukrinform/. Hundreds of the bodies of Russian mercenaries have been found in a lake in Sloviansk, Donetsk region.
The acting chief of the directorate for work with personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Major-General Oleksandr Rozmaznin, said this on June 24, TSN reported.
"In Sloviansk, a diver plunged into the water and saw hundreds of corpses in a lake. These are unwept and unburied sons of the Russian fatherland. They bury those militants like this. These are unknown mass graves that are filled with militants from Russia. And they, unfortunately, will be considered missing," he said.
Earlier, regional media reported about crowded local morgues, fresh graves in forests, and mass removal of "cargo 200" to Russia.
