That’s my understanding too.. Someone in our government needs to just say, in plain English, that Obama has been building and reinforcing ISIS’s march across the Middle East, all along.. Glenn Beck called this one, long ago.

Such hypocrisy by Obama who wants to do nothing as ISIS wages war in Iraq but maybe not since Obama has aligned with Arab spring terrorists.

..and makes me consider if indeed ISIS is a direct product of our working hands.

Starting to look that way. And the decision to take down Assad will probably end up being the biggest mistake ever in US foreign policy.

I thought ISIS is the Syrian opposition.

Was. Is. Could have been. Might have been. Should have been. Used to be. Was the most effective opposition. Was labelled a terrorist group. Helping the Sauds and Turks. Currently attacking Assad. Is attacking Iraq. Oh. Heck.

What difference does it make ?

Assad ....... ISIS

Assad ....... ISIS

Can someone tell me exactly why we need to depose Assad, knowing full well that ISIS will take over Syria?

Barak Obama continues to invent ways of being stupid.

Where is McCain? Cringing in fear that someone won’t produce the photos of him shaking hands with ISIS leaders in Syria. Bet you those photos exist.

These “vetted” forces will inevitably and invariably be more aligned with ISIS than any western interest.

Even if the “vetted” succeed, what’s to stop ISIS from taking over in the eleventh hour and literally decapitating the leadership of the “vetted”.

Note here they use the word “opposition”...we can’t even call these sweet pees rebels anymore as they are utterly suspect.

WHY is the focus now Syria when any achievement of the so called “vetted opposition” naturally takes pressure off ISIS -allowing them to pursue other goals elsewhere.

What if...what if...Obama’s foremost goal is to topple as many governments as possible...by any and all means...to include ISIS.

I don’t even think Obama care veil his intent anymore, he knows the November elections will be a disaster and he has until January to reek as much havoc as he can. After that he’ll sit back, take the criticism, veto everything corrective action with some trivial rationale, all while watching suffer very really consequences.

In a word: SPITE!

Giving more money to Syrian rebels results in more death and destruction. We’re probably doing this for Israel, let them pay for it and anyone else (Saudis) who don’t like Assad, who is the leader of a sovereign nation. I’m tired of all this national building and regime change.

If we could just hold our noses and let Assad do what is required to clear his nation of terrorists, we’ll be better off.

Prayer for Peace in Syria

God of Compassion,
Hear the cries of the people of Syria,
Bring healing to those suffering from the violence,
Bring comfort to those mourning the dead,
Strengthen Syria’s neighbors in their care and welcome for refugees,
Convert the hearts of those who have taken up arms,
And protect those committed to peace.

God of Hope,
Inspire leaders to choose peace over violence and to seek reconciliation with enemies,
Inspire the Church around the world with compassion for the people of Syria,
And give us hope for a future of peace built on justice for all.

We ask this through Jesus Christ,
Prince of Peace and Light of the World,
Amen.

Petition: For the people of Syria, that God may strengthen the resolve of leaders to end the fighting and choose a future of peace.
