Doesn’t it seem to you that the Cochran campaign would only have approached those Dems who HAD NOT voted in the Dem Primary to come out to vote. Pretty dumb — unless they just advertised a blanket “come out and vote” decree. (Similar to O’s immigration policy I guess)

No because some of their ads were aimed at black voters who were being told that the Tea Party was trying to prevent blacks from voting. So, it would make sense to try to get out voters that you thought would vote rather than just target ones that didn’t bother to show up for the adem primary. It suggests to me that there was an intent to get people to vote illegally and take advantage of those who didn’t understand that it was illegal.

I figure the GOPe machine hired the GOTV chore to DEMs. You know, payola helps the turnout and all that. Just turnout, there is no question about eligibility, etc., that gets sorted out later.
