LIBERAL MP and climate change sceptic Dennis Jensen claims Al Gore will personally profit from Clive Palmers new climate policy, saying the Nobel laureate would do anything and say anything for a buck.
Dr Jensen also likened the former US vice-president and leading climate activist to a member of a fictional, profit-obsessed alien race in the Star Trek movie and TV series.
Mr Gore last night commended the Palmer United Partys policy of abolishing Labors world-leading carbon tax, while retaining the Renewable Energy Target and Clean Energy Finance Corporation.
Dr Jensen, speaking in parliament, said the joint media announcement proved Mr Gore would do anything and say anything for a buck.
One question that must be asked
is what investments Al Gore might have that might prove lucrative by retaining the RET and the CEFC, Dr Jensen said, under the protection of parliamentary privilege.

Americans have been saying this for decades. Algore is all about stealing other people’s money.
Well, never hearts to have a LibTard see the light once in awhile.
No kidding. But Hillary is a true socialist. She hates money.
A psychopathic nut case can hide out for a long time among hard core liberals, especially if he helps in the general effort to promote liberalism in a professional, high-profile manner.
Look at the history of Ira Einhorn.
Gore is not a murderer, but he’s just as toxic and self-serving.
My personal opinion is that - after being “cheated” out of his chance to be president - he decided to go full-bore cynical, cheating the system out of whatever he could get, monetarily and otherwise.
If those cheated included other liberals, so much the better as far as he was concerned.
in our family we refer to Ferengi as buttheads because their heads are shaped like butts... and i do think Al Gore is a butthead...
“But Hillary is a true socialist. She hates money.”
Correction: “But Hillary is a true socialist, she hates other people having money.”
(Actually it is more complicated - at the Federal level the "Coalition" is the conservative group and it is made up of the Liberal Party, the National Party (formerly Country Party), and some others from time to time.)
In Australia, the main conservative party is the Liberal Party, which is why this man is described as a Liberal. Our current conservative government is a coalition between the Liberal and National parties.
The name harkens back to the Liberal tradition of the 1800s when the word was associated with ideals such as freedom and independence of thought. The way the term has come to be used in America, is seen in Australia as times, but is normally referred to as 'small l liberal' as opposed to 'capital L Liberal' referring to the conservative party.
No better proof of Al Gore’s hypocrisy is his purchase of a $9 million SEASIDE mansion on the California coast. Gore assured us that melting ice caps would cause rising sea levels inundating the coast, including his mansion. Either Al Gore is totally ignorant of his own climate predictions or more likely knows they are a total hoax designed just to make him money.

HOW DARE YOU INSULT OUR PROFIT AL BORE!!!!
He spent his hard earned money to buy that estate in order to help out the previous owner who literally would have ended up underwater! Al bought the property knowing it would flood and be worthless in the future in order to for the original owner to have enough money to move far inland to escape the rising seas!
Our Savior AL has given all of his money to help seaside landownders re-locate!!
(Bill Clintoon voice) HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU!
Interesting.
I taught my son that Al Gore was the Elmer Gantry of our times.
Of course, as a 19-year old, he prefers the ManBearPig comparison . . .
