Amid the IRS scandal, the VA mismanagement, and other D.C. scandals, President Obama declared Thursday that government is not the problem and once again accused Republicans of trying to promote "phony scandals" for political gain.

At a town hall in Minnesota (clip above), Obama admitted screw-ups and "bone-headed" actions within the federal government.
"Are there some federal workers who do bone-headed things? Absolutely," he said, recalling former Defense Secretary Robert Gates once telling him "at any given moment, on any given day, somebody in the federal government is screwing up."
"They're phony scandals that are generated. It's all geared towards the next election or ginning up a base -- it's not on the level. And that must feel frustrating, and it makes people cynical and it makes people turned off from the idea that anything can get done," said Obama, though it was not clear which specific scandal he was talking about.

I take only the most infinitesimal modicum of satisfaction of knowing that while this self-absorbed solipsistic sociopath lives in the moment, revels in his time, fully engaged in the heady indulgence of his nihilistic fantasies, to wreak utter, vile havoc, destruction against that which he reviles most, like few have ever been privy to, he will not be granted the sort of grandiose, glorified legacy that most of his ilk desperately yearn for.
History will not look upon him with the slightest favor, will mark his black days here on Earth as one of destiny's most godforsaken, misbegotten political demons of all time.
Perhaps he is well aware of that and is all too happy to make the Faustian Bargain of his dreams, like few have ever had.

Yeah, if the scandals are so “phony”, I’m sure the emails would exonerate you of all wrong doing, so cough ‘em up and we’ll let it go.
I’m afraid you will find lots of history professors writing books celebrating Obama as a great, “historic” president. Thankfully, not all the books about him will be written by leftist academics.
