After noting that Iranian weapons and military advisers are flooding into Iraq, while Syrian warplanes conduct air raids into Iraqi territory in the north, Fox News describes the “smart power” response of the utterly helpless Obama Administration:
The apparent involvement, however, of Iran as well as Syria is raising red flags in the Obama administration, with top officials voicing concern that their involvement could create a “flashpoint” that deepens sectarian tensions in the country. A senior U.S. official also confirmed to Fox News earlier this week that there are indications Syrian aircraft launched airstrikes against Sunni militant targets in Iraq on Monday.

Weakness and disarray invite aggression. Obviously a lesson unlearned by the Obama regime. It not only invites aggression but eventually results in a much bigger bigger, and then unavoidable, conflict. That’s what seems to be in the offing: war with the new state of Terroristan. I hope all the terrorists gather there so a new administration can obliterate it..

As I posted on another thread, it’s absurd to think that the supposed nations of the middle east are going to be permanent, when their borders were drawn by the European colonial powers, often to prevent true nations from being able to resist. That’s why 30 million Kurds, with a real separate identity and language have no “nation”, while artificial constructs like Iraq are supposed to be inviolable. And that’s why the only way they don’t devolve into civil war and anarchy is a dictatorship that crushes all opposition before it can start. How do you have “democracy” when most of the people there don’t agree on what country they are a part of?
Time for the State Department to post another hash-tag.
I’m just happy Obama is getting his (first hearing of this) from the media.
Sunnis outnumber Shiites 8-1. I am willing to bank Obama is a Sunni. Which now makes sense. He let the Shiites in Iran put down the rebellion Back in 2009 because if the Clerics were tossed, he would have another democracy in the world to deal with.
It would be hard to imagine how Obama could have screwed this up worse.
I’m thinking Obama was chosen by God to screw up the Middle East so that indeed World War 3 will begin which of course will lead to armegeddon(sp). Imagine that. Obama responsible for Armegeddon. End of the world as we know it. All of the people that voted for this asshole will have this over their head.
This is never a good thing when multiple countries are sending their military in the same spot of the world.
As long as the Muslims kill each other...no problem. Just keep it contained in Iraq, Syria and Iran. Let them behead, execute, rape, amputate each other... whatever Islam dictates they need to do. Praise wallah. No tears for any of them.

I don’t think you’re far off.
Now Obama wants to negotiate a settlement with this rogue terrorist organization that seems bent on destroying world civilization. And arm MORE Syrian "rebels" this time being really, really careful that they're not part of this crazed cancerous monster US and Saudi financing has created.
If this were a novel or movie, the reaction would be "this is nowhere near believeable"
