It's great to see you this evening - I hope you've had a good day!

I had the great privilege, some thirty years ago, of singing in a Church choir here in D.C Land that included both Daisy Jackson, the soloist in that rendition, and George Singleton, a powerful Bass-Baritone, as principal soloists.

Daisy, sadly for us, has gone to her Eternal Reward, but I still have the chance to chat - online - with George.

A couple of very talented singers - Soldiers of Art and strong Soldiers of the Lord!

Love the Singing Sergeants! I’ve seen them here at several 4th of July picnics, with the Air Force’s Band of The Pacific - Alaska.

But......

The Band of the Pacific — Alaska’s only Air Force band — first formed in 1941 and officially designated in 1943, has been deactivated due to budget cuts, June 3, 2013, and their members reassigned across the U.S. The Band of the Pacific is/was a unit existing in three parts in Alaska, Japan and Hawaii. d:o(

Awesome that you got some rain! We got nearly an inch on Monday or Tuesday night..can’t remember which! My lawn is happy! :)

Hubby isn’t. He has to mow more often now. LOL!
