1: “ Nationally, the four-year, on-time graduation rate is 78 percent. The national graduation rate for African American boys is just 52 percent. In my city, the on-time graduation rate for 2013 is 64 percent, with the graduation rate for African American boys at a mere 57 percent.”
Forgive me but isent this looking at the effect of this sentment, rather than as the cause?
57% of Black boys do in fact graduate, and poor black boys do in fact grow up to become wealthy and successful. Clearly it is possible if you work hard, but you have to be inclined to do so. Something a sad few number of black boys are not inclined to do.
2: This is at least agreeable, Black males commit most of the crimes murdering and getting murdered at a rate that far exceeds their numbers indicating a massive cultural problem among that population and serous threat to the rest of us who lives near them.
2: Defiantly don’t agree, thousands of years of “disinvestment” in Europe and every other place of the world did not create this sort of homicidal self-destructive and depressing madness that we now see in the black community in America.
Only the last 50 years sense welfare and the soo called “civil rights” movement have we seen this sort of mass self-destruction in the black world. All of which seem indicative of a population that both collectively and individually feel hopelessly wronged, and thus unwilling by majority to try pull themselves up by the boot straps instead of waiting for someone else to do it for them.
A poor man does not become wealthy simply because a rich man feeds and educates him. A poor man must be motivated to earn his own food, learn his own lesions and make uses of those skills. This is the sort of self-drive that is at the heart of anyone who is truly successful. Anyone who believes this is fundamentally not possible or too difficult will never commit all the enormous amounts of time, dedication, and effort towards making it happen. Thus they will never be successful if they do not try.
If blacks as a group feel entitled and so wrong personally that they are unwilling to pull themselves up by their own boot straps then they will not do so as individuals or a group.
No amount of external or community effort will ever change that except thou changing how they see and act themselves. After all nobody can ever change the world except by changing themselves.

The plight of poor black young men starts out with their mamas who were desperate to be wanted by their daddies. The girls need to really learn, more importantly than learning to write well or do algebra, that it is No Great Skill to get a guy into bed. it says nothing about you. It’s easy and worthless.
Larry Elder’s rules apply here. Paraphrasing. Stay in school and go as far as you can with your education by hook or buy crook. Do not have unprotected sex ever until you are married. Don’t get married until you have a decent job. Your child thus will not be born into poverty.
It’s all about not conceiving a child until you are mature, earning, and married. No black kid - or any other kind of kid - would ever be born poor if everyone followed those rules.
