1 million immigrants a year isn’t enough for the cheap votes/cheap labor lobby. Their Super-Amnesty is determined to legalize another 12 million illegal aliens and import millions more using amnesty as a magnet.
The current border crisis is only a small part of what will happen should Congress pass Super-Amnesty.
Advocates of Super-Amnesty claim that immigration is an engine of job growth. It’s not. Cheap labor just undercuts the middle class while cheap votes passes the social welfare bill to that same middle class.

Government data show that since 2000 all of the net gain in the number of working-age (16 to 65) people holding a job has gone to immigrants (legal and illegal). This is remarkable given that native-born Americans accounted for two-thirds of the growth in the total working-age population. Though there has been some recovery from the Great Recession, there were still fewer working-age natives holding a job in the first quarter of 2014 than in 2000, while the number of immigrants with a job was 5.7 million above the 2000 level.

What we’re seeing here is the impact of the globalized open borders approach. Cheap labor drives down wages at one end while at the other end, cheap votes push social welfare to compensate for the low wages.
Americans are losing their jobs to cheap labor and losing their money to cheap votes.
The Obama economy has mainly created low wage jobs. A sizable percentage of them are basically McDonald’s jobs. It’s not surprising that immigrants vacuumed those up.
The worst impact of that was on young African-American men whose unemployment rates are terrible. But it extends beyond that. Cheap labor locks young Americans out of entry level jobs. They never move up the ladder because they can’t even reach the bottom of the ladder.
An entire generation is being locked out of the labor market by cheap labor and cheap votes.
Super-Amnesty will kill the ability of generations to come to find work. It will expand ghettos and inflict misery on tens of millions of Americans.
OH, but...but...but...dontcha know that immigrants create a quarter of all new business startups, the ones that create the most jobs.

Good though, one of the reasons I moved out of that cesspool of a state was the constant constant voting in of liberal pukes like De Blasio. Now all those who did can live on the street and pick through the garbage cans while they watch all the illegals doing the jobs they could be doing.

Disgusting. So, what does this force the blacks who’ve lost their jobs to illegals to do?
State construction job wages are set at Davis-Bacon rates so what advantage is there in giving these jobs to one group over another? Why would an employer hire an illegal over a citizen if everything else were equal - i.e. quality of work, rate of pay?
The community where I live is getting new roofing and all the workers I see are latino looking. However, this is a non-union job so I imagine they’re working for less money.

The US chamber of commerce wants it both ways:
amnesty (SEE: “comprehensive immigration reform”) for their members’ veteran illegals who can’t move on but have learned English & the lay of the land—and want your job;
and, no change in lax border enforcement so they can then recruit another generation of frightened, tractable, hardworking/non-complaining, low-paid slaves—to take your kid’s job.
In other words, they have no desire to “fix our broken immigration system”, none at al. They’re just shucking us when they say that. “We’ve gotta fix our broken immigration system!” Barbara Streisand! They want amnesty, period.
They like things just the way they are (except for wanting amnesty) at least for another ten or twenty years when we will have twice as many demanding the same damned `reform’. (And if you believe the figure “12 million,” I’ve got a bridge for sale ...)
In sum, this why we’re at an impasse with these rats. All Americans ask is that our southwestern border be secured first, then we can talk `reform’, maybe; and this isn’t unreasonable considering the problem.
They flatly refuse to defend our borders from invasion: they want more wave of illegals. And more `reform’ in the future. So to hell with that, and to hell with them!

US citizens have been fighting the battle of immigrants taking jobs for eons.....obviously Congress and Representatives of hear but have failed time and again to act on behalf of the American people on this issue.
Now there are so many foreigners voting, they will do nothing which will create uprisings or threatening to the votes they want to retain their seats.
Our Congress operates fully now as a “Campaigning” site....all about the next election and keeping THEIR jobs.
Liberal elites also make ‘student loans’ and raise tuition - with the biggest joke on the middle class at the end... The best jobs go to ‘immigrants’... they work cheaper and ask for less... You're ‘graduate’? Out of luck.
Liberal elites dumbed down colleges so they could pull in more students - kids who couldn't read their diplomas... That made the value of a US college degree closer to what a high school diploma used to be... while charging 50 times as much... Liberal elites - destroy the middle class ...

I look at it the other way around. I don't see millions of Americans living on the street completely destitute, so I see this as a case where maybe Americans are importing large numbers of slave workers to help support a standard of living that we can't afford ourselves.
Citizens have no incentive to work, the welfare state provides them with big screen TV’s, cell phones and food stamps, all part of the engineered decline of America.
Well I’m just relaying what I am seeing: Construction workers constantly protesting at construction sites for using non-union workers, and the construction guys who are working looking VERY Mexican, same with the road work. Being that it’s New York which is corrupt as hell, I would imagine they just ignore that Davis-Bacon rate. If you live in New York city, ever see those giant inflatable rats all over the place? That’s construction unions protesting, they are ALL over the place.
