This Heritage event on Benghazi has gotten a lot of press over the last day or two, with the left claiming the event turned ‘ugly‘ and that the Muslim woman was ‘pounced on’ and ‘bullied’ by members of the panel.
But after watching it myself, that characterization couldn’t be more wrong. In fact Brigitte Gabriel’s answer to this Muslim woman is perhaps the best answer I’ve ever heard to the ‘peaceful Muslims’ question.

Along with that ask yourself this: If Islam is peaceful why the need for moderation? As I see it that makes the point that it isn’t peaceful.
Political Correctness is the instrument of tyranny and repression. Oh, it is supposed to be all so smoothly done, as a “gentle reproof” for harshness and righteous anger at what is perceived (rightly) as an attempt to manipulate opinion and squelch opposition.
But Brigitte Gabrielle is right, about the fact that the great majority of Muslims being peaceful is also totally irrelevant, as it is a very CRIMINAL minority of Islamic jihadists that brands every other Muslim in the world with the epithets of “outsider” and “despicable”.
We as non-Muslims, do not know, and cannot know, who the good people and the criminals among Muslims are. Therefore, until there is some way we may know them, all are suspect, and all shall be subject to the same wariness and shunning that is given to anyone who may be skulking and furtive.
Body language is not an exact art, but those who understand its application are well advised to use it in screening whoever shall be allowed to pass freely and who should be recipient of much closer scrutiny.
People of innocent intent have a different aspect than those who may be bearing malice aforethought.

I would go further and say that it is worse than irrelevant. The lack of public criticism of the islamists by the so-called “peaceful” muslims, makes them quiet accomplices and enablers.
And when they go beyond just being quiet and start playing the victim cards and malign the actual victims that turns them into outright collaborators.
Isn’t interesting that they are more than willing, in fact they demand it that they be treated as a group, as a “community”, when it comes to getting protection and benefits from society, but when it comes to them taking responsibility for members of their own “community” nobody wants to step up, all of them want to be treated as innocent individuals. This phenomenon also applies to blacks and hispanics.
GOOD muslims are terrorists...
BAD (or nominal)muslims are not...
The problem is Islam, to truly practice the religion is to become a radical threat to your fellow man, and other nations.
What the media calls radical Islam, is just the devout.
i watched both videos.. one shows the first guy answering before Brigitt... and he plays right into the Muslim gals hands... after Brigitt answered, he must have felt embarrassed... notice the guy on the far lefthand side smile as Brigitt was about to go into her answer... he knew she was not going to hold back...
American blacks have the same problem as muslims..
AND american jews as well...
Except their are some Blacks and Jews (a few) doing good work to expose all that..

Enjoyed the impromptu speech but if you or I fired it off as a response during a discussion at a good sized party (and with only half the heat this woman was feeling) people would be sideling away and muttering “bigot”.
I don’t care period. I just wonder why the narrative has to qualified by the ‘’let me say not all muslims are extreme’’. Bulls**t. There was never such a thing as a ‘’moderate Nazi’’.

Indeed. We have only to look at the life of the Muslim “prophet”. He himself warred, butchered and raped during his life and did so SPICIFICALLY in the furtherance of Islam.
Perhaps the radicalism of “mainstream” Islam is just inherent in its nature. Mohammed wanted a monotheistic religion to replace the old pagan one for multiple reasons. First, to compete with the others, making it a particularly antagonistic one. Another, to recruit fanatical troops for his Jihads of conquest who weren’t afraid to die, being promised not only sex slaves in the afterlife but mansions with servants, possessions, etc.
And the moderates, saying the God of the Bible is the same god as the Muslim one, aren’t really being true to their own belief, since they claim the Bible was corrupted and is basically a lie. Convenient, since there are so many contradictions with the Koran. But what do we know of the author? His visions came from epileptic fits. He wrote a set of books that later had to be edited from the Koran because they commanded his followers to worship the daughters of the pagan god Hubal. He was a warlord who purchased a 6-year-old wife. He had a penchant for murder. Yet he is compared very uncharacteristically to one of the Biblical prophets.
The Koran even contradicts itself in places, and is arranged haphazardly. And unlike the other major religions, Muslims are not allowed to research their religion too closely. There are religious police in Muslim countries that punish any open critique. Does something that is true fear the truth this much? Why is a former pagan shrine the most holy site in Islam? If Mohammed deserves one compliment, it is probably that he is the most successful false prophet in history.
