Why liberals should stop trying to ‘help’ black Americans

Yes, it has nothing to do with “help” and everything to do with “control.”

There are many successful black Americans in various fields and their skills and talents open doors of opportunity and their hard work has paid off in wealthy, productive lifestyle. We can cite numerous examples and its great to see their success. Why the general black population wants to hitch their wagons to the loser DemRat and lieberals is either due to low self esteem, or they are lazy, unmotivated and unproductive. Its another sort of bondage but self propagated. Very unimpressed by the loser attitudes of so many but not all as mentioned.

I don’t believe “many blacks” share the morals and religious beliefs of conservatives; the number of welfare bastards, abortions, and voting for more of the same would indicate this isn’t true at all. Many black “churches” are fronts for political action committees; a co-worker showed me a magazine they circulated, and much of it was devoted to obtaining tax-exempt status.

There is a reason why nobody raised the “church/state” issue when two black “ministers” (Jackson & Sharpton) ran for president; nobody takes blacks seriously, particularly “black clergy”.

Every ‘Rat politician running for national or state-wide office (okay, maybe not for Secretary of State in states where that is an elected office) should be asked publicly and repeatedly to enunciate an “exit strategy” for the War on Poverty.

Obama explained the black response to the verdict in this way: “They understand that some of the violence that takes place in poor black neighborhoods around the country is born out of a very violent past in this country, and that the poverty and dysfunction that we see in those communities can be traced to a very difficult history.”

Obama was doing exactly what liberals have been conditioning blacks to do since the 1960s, which is to blame black pathology on the legacy of slavery and Jim Crow laws. And the president is conditioning the next generation of blacks to do the same.

This is a dodge. Those legacies are not holding down blacks half as much as the legacy of efforts to help them “overcome.” The left’s sentimental support has turned underprivileged blacks into playthings for liberal intellectuals and politicians who care more about clearing their conscience or winning votes than advo­cating behaviors and attitudes that have allowed other groups to get ahead.

But you're right - dems are bringing in a new group... Dems will make empty promises to 'new' Hispanics too... until they're nice and dependent - totally loyal - and going no where... Hispanic unemployment is high - so dems are bring more in - make them fight over the scraps... And dems are telling them how 'it's ok to break the law' - meaning that the rest of us will start resenting them... Talk about setting people up for a fall...

Illegals are slavery-lite... all over again... and as usual - brought to us by democrats.
