Summer in Milwaukee is just getting started, and already the violence has been the worst we have seen in years. Children taken out by bullets to the head, murdered in cold blood; their innocence is no longer with us. Hate spills across the streets, destroying everything in its path and killing off what this world needs to be a better place.
What happened to coping skills that would kick in when life got rough, was unfair and seemed determined to break our spirits? What happened to valuing another's life even when yours seemed unbearable? What happened to love and compassion in spite of how others have treated you?
We ask these questions every time we face the tragedy of losing another innocent life. We gather in the streets for prayer vigils, with candles and comforting words for the families. We prop up memorials to remember the dead, asking them to rest in peace as violence continues to rip across our city. We place blame on poor school systems, abandoned houses, joblessness and discrimination. We say that politicians don't value us, our vote, our struggle or our fear. They don't appreciate who we are or where we come from. They are not from around here. They don't know our story.
We are so angry but fail to understand that our anger is driven by an underlying problem that we are too afraid to face.

Which happens every single place where people are armed. Dodge City in the 1870’s was a “gun free zone” with strict laws against carrying in the city limits. And guess where all the stories of gunfights and murders came from in the old west.

And yet there are liberal websites telling how wonderful and commonsensical this was, I guess because of how well it worked.
“State Sen. Nikiya Harris Dodd (D-Milwaukee) represents the 6th Senate District.”
And I thought this: “It’s for the children. Give peace a chance! We all have AIDs.” B.arbara S.treisand was just from some douchebag writing a letter to the editor.
Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Watch the above Nikiya Harris Dodd - and see why sometimes conservatives feel blacks and democrats deserve each other...
