At least 27 people have been shot, one of them fatally, in Chicago since Friday.
Police said the weekend’s sole fatality, as of Sunday morning, occurred just before 9 a.m. Saturday when a 42-year-old man was fatally shot in the head while riding his bike.
The shooting took place in the 3600 block of West Chicago Avenue. Police said the man was taken to Mount Sinai hospital with wounds to the head and right arm and was later pronounced dead.
Ten others were shot Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning.
Most recently, a 25-year-old man was shot in the back and buttocks in the Parkway Gardens neighborhood on the South Side.
The man suffered gunshot wounds to the back after being shot around 5 a.m. Sunday in the 6400 block of South King Drive and was listed in critical condition. Police did not have any further details surrounding the shooting and said the victim was being uncooperative.

I would like to know how many of this number were shot with legally obtained weapons by the person utilizing the weapon. I bet ZERO.
Typically when I’m riding my bike I worry about passing cars. They’re more dangerous than guns, you know.

It would also be interesting to know how many of the shooters were feral black youth, how many were known gang members, how many had been in trouble with the law before, etc.
There are many interesting angles to these shootings which should be explored, such as the gang angles. But due to political correctness and fears of being called racist, we can’t speculate about such things.

Wanna talk racism?
The single largest group of violent crimes are blacks, but society tolerates this because it is mostly other blacks doing the victimizing. Where’s the outrage?
If this is a prime example of “Holder’s peoples” marksmanship then when they are released on their Zombie attacks against the producers then things should settle out with in a couple of weeks. It will be a hard couple of weeks but when it’s over . . . .
