The Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday it has notified Kiev about plans to send 60 metric tons of humanitarian aid to eastern regions of Ukraine caught in the fighting between the government forces and independence supporters.

"The note states that Russia has prepared a truck convoy to deliver a total of 60 metric tons of humanitarian aid comprising food and personal hygiene supplies," the ministry said in a statement.

"The trucks are expected to depart to Luhansk and Donetsk on June 28, they may later proceed to other regions of Ukraine hosting internally displaced population," the statement said. Moscow has also asked Kiev to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian cargo to crisis-hit regions, including the mapping of the route for Russian trucks traveling on the Ukrainian territory.

The number of the Ukrainian people who fled to Russia over the anti-terrorist operation launched against residents in the eastern Ukraine has reached 110,000 this year, the UN refugee agency stated. The UN also stated that 9,500 people who sought refugee status in Russia afraid to make formal request for the status of fear of reprisals if they return back to Ukraine.

This is the first English-language article I could find concerning this. Russian Media is making a BIG DEAL of this, and it is playing far and wide.

The convoy is due to arrive at the border on Monday morning.

If Ukraine stops them at the border, does that give Putin an excuse to intervene, just as the big Kiev offensive against the rebels is about to start??

Ukraine cannot accept ‘humanitarian aid’ from Russia, says foreign ministry

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine on Saturday sent a response note to the Russian Foreign Ministry pointing at the impossibility of accepting ‘humanitarian aid,’ taking into account the indefiniteness of its end addressee.

The department of the information policy of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported that on June 27, 2014, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine received a note from the Foreign Ministry of Russia with information that Russian plans to send ‘humanitarian aid’ to Donetsk and Luhansk regions and maybe other regions where displaced persons are staying.

Apparently there was an effort last weekend to get a private humanitarian convoy into the Southeast, sponsored by both Zhirinovsky and the Communist Party, that ran into gunfire at the border.

This effort is getting much more press, is very high profile, and is sponsored by “The Union of Rescue Teams”.
Is that like our Red Cross??

I know, just imagine: what if the Mexico annexed a portion of S. California, and fomented unrest farther north. And then presumed to send “humanitarian aid.”

Why would Ukraine allow Russians to supply their terrorists?

When the damned Russky terrorists invaded Afghanistan they dispensed explosive mines disguised as children’s toys and other “humanitarian” supplies. Many of the Russky murderers waging a reign of terror in eastern Ukraine today are the same genocidal savage animal cowards who decimated the Afghan population.

Humanitarian aid? Like the humanitarian aid they sent to Hanoi that was used to kill Americans.

Ukraine would be in its right to search the aid trucks and items....but to willy nilly turn away aid at border would be a bad diplomatic move.

Wonder if the EU would match similar aid? I wouldn’t trust the EU on anything right now...it is a mess

It depends. Who is supporting Mexico? The same Globalists that are arming Christian slaughtering ISIS jihadi mercenaries, aka Al Qeada 2.0, to overthrow the legitimate governments of Syria and Iraq or Russia that is sending weapons to the government of Iraq that American soldiers bleed to install and the Globalist stooge Obongo told to drop dead.

If there was any aid sent by the EU it would probably be delivered by this guy -

Hey, listen . . . since you are into that sort of stuff, do you have any listings of gay/trannie bars in Moscow? Looks like you like to keep track.

Not really. The US and EU push the Homo Agenda at such at extreme level its hard not to be exposed to it. When I first saw the new face of the sodomite EU, Conchita Wurst, I was watching the BBC in Tokyo of all places. I nearly lost my lunch.

No. I’ll keep track of the Globalists that like to fund Christian killing terrorist armies, overthrow legitimate governments, flood Western nations with 3rd Worlders, outsource Middle-class job to Red China, and generally undermine Christianity and Western Civilization around the globe.

And that’s what I’ve always found amusing about you. You keep track of globalists, unless they are Russian. You don’t think Russia has globalists? What does that word mean, anyway?
