Geez, if the people through their Representatives can prosecute crimes, what the hell is divided government worth?

Any branch of Government can do what they wish if this is true. Actually, the Representative branch’s control of the funds seems unlikely at this point and if that is so, what power do they actually have?

I think you have a reading comprehension problem. You are not keeping up with this conversation very well.

NO, Congress does NOT have the power to prosecute and that was my point.

Sorry, but until you overcome the Justice branch (in charge) and can declare an independent prosecutor, nothing changes...
