Skip to comments.Arizona -- Front line of the Immigration Battle: Obama Turns America Into Giant Refugee Camp
Posted on 07/01/2014 7:57:54 AM PDT by SeekAndFind
In pushing its immigration agenda, the Obama Administration has encouraged thousands of Central American families and unaccompanied children to come to the U.S. illegally The president and others in his administration have tried to spin this recent influx of immigrants as a humanitarian effort to help those fleeing violence, murders, and extortion from criminal gangs in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. Yet, how humanitarian is it to drop off numerous unaccompanied children at an Arizona warehouse, or release them into an unknown territory where they can possibly become the victims of predators? American Thinker interviewed Governor Jan Brewer (R-AZ) and other Arizonians to comment on this continuing crisis.
Everyone interviewed agreed that they would recommend that the president might need to build a bigger moat. They refer to his remarks made in May 2011 during the El Paso immigration speech, So, we have gone above and beyond what was requested by the very Republicans who said they supported broader reform as long as we got serious about enforcement. But even though weve answered these concerns, I suspect there will be those who will try to move the goal posts one more time. Theyll say we need to triple the border patrol. Or quadruple the border patrol. Theyll say we need a higher fence to support reform. Maybe theyll say we need a moat. Or alligators in the moat. Theyll never be satisfied. And I understand that. Thats politics. But the truth is, the measures weve put in place are getting results.
It is true that this administration has now demonstrated results, which are the direct opposite of what they have espoused for years. Governor Brewer blames the Obama Administration, believing that they had a plan to willingly not enforce the immigration laws.

An easy way to get the ‘no fly’ enemies in.
They’ve already told us they’re coming.
What a brilliant idea!
And just a reminder:
In Israel, before they were called “Palestinians”, they were called “refugees”.
RE: In Israel, before they were called Palestinians, they were called refugees.
So, what will our refugees eventually be called?
Democrats. Welfare recipients. Drunk drivers. Child molesters. College grant recipients. Favored job quota recipients.
Making the US into another third world s&^% hole like the rest of the ME and S. America is just one of the steps along the way.
All of America will be a ‘safe house’ for criminals, the diseased, Jihadi’s, the indigent and etc.
These “O” administration excesses are patently malicious and sadistic.
Nothing could more clearly express his deliberately Anti-American attitude and philosophy that THIS!
They are not immigrants.
Invaders, committing numerous illegal acts.
The U.S. citizens will be called “occupiers”.
All very true. At the same time, by styling this as a refugee crisis as opposed to simple illegal alien detention, the administration may be laying the predicate for UN oversight. Wouldn’t be surprised at all to start seeing Blue Helmets on the ground supervising the “refugee camps”.
Stop using the term “refugees”! They are no more refugees that my aunt Mabel (presuming I had an Aunt Mabel). Actual Americans should continually use the term “invaders”, because that is what they are.
Victims or some semblance thereof. The point is that the Mohammedans used the "refugees" as political fodder to this day.
Obama the immigration enforcement hawk. The very same Obama who sued border states for enforcing immigration law. Two more years of this jerk.
It’s like the _resident is trying to recreate the Israeli/Palestinian situation here in America. They were from Jordan but claim to be Palestinian (Arafat created)
“... predicate for UN oversight...”
Absolutely...THAT is what it is all about. I’m surprised he didn’t bring them in YET!
