Has Skynet become self-aware? It seems the 'robots' that run the US equity markets (HFT/algo trading dominates what little volume there is left) have decided to cut out the middle man in the market as Associated Press reports this morning that it will employ the story-writing software by start-up Automated Insights to automate the production of U.S. corporate earnings stories. To be frank, given the copy/paste nature of most mainstream media 'analysis' of earnings, we thought this had already occurred but AP notes, "We are going to use our brains and time in more enterprising ways during earnings season." Does that mean that anyone but Zero Hedge will be discussing cashflows or GAAP earnings?

Well, I think there might be a bit of demand for creative works (music, arts, writings, etc) so perhaps a bit of resurgence there?

The robots won’t kill us in the matrix, they will simply keep us in there the whole time until we die of old age and don’t reproduce, this sealing our fate, at least the last human will die of old age happily.....
There already is. Established artists are competing w/indies who publish digitally for .99-$3. People are so used to free eBooks, they now won’t spend more than $3 for a novel. Articles abound that while musicians sell digital downloads, albums aren’t selling. There’s a lot of free music available.
To become self-sustaining in the arts takes a lot of money for exposure. Writing, performing, whatever will become a good way to spend time, but it looks to me as though we will all be on some sort of basic dole. Can’t say I understand how that sort of economy will work.

Robot Outfitters or Robot Hunter Games. Hired hands will take hunters with heavy purse strings that donate mega $$$ to NWO citizen representatives. They’ll be taken heavily laden robotic facilities like automated factories for $100K. For more action, $1M they’ll get to hunt on mock military grounds with heavy surveillance measures present with drones and armed sentry bots that they’ll have to take out first. Every time a robot is incapacitated an illegal immigrant will get automatic citizenship. For every 5th robot incapacitated a citizen will receive welfare benefits for a year, for every 20 robots incapacitated a non-white cutizen receives temporary employment. White citizen slaves will be required to maintain the robots and act as live human targets when needed...
