The thing that always confuses me about these stories is that first we hear they live in such astounding poverty that there is no toilet and hardly any food. Then a few paragraphs later, they are borrowing $2,600 to pay the coyote.

Who are they borrowing it from, and if someone in their life is willing to loan them $2,600, why can't they have a working toilet? I mean, seriously, what am I missing??

These are pure blood Indians living in remote mountains in Guatemala. They are living primitively. Most don’t peak Spanish and they sure can’t read or write

How is it that America is somehow responsible for them? To give them a chance to make money here? To live here?

America defeated and subdued the Indian tribes here 130 years ago. Now we are being invaded by Southern Indians and half-Indians who are mestizos.

More than ever wwe need to enforce the Southern Border
