Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Admits to Using Cocaine, Hallucinogenic Mushrooms and Crack

Liquor-loving, crack-smoking Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is blaming his woes on using “every drug you can probably think of.”

Ford, who just this week returned to work after a stint in rehab, admitted Wednesday he dabbled with cocaine, hallucinogenic mushrooms and crack -- the last he still claims he wasn’t addicted to.

But he never tried heroin, he said.

And while Ford said he drank at work, he never did drugs within City Hall.

Ford made the remarks in interviews with the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. and CP24, a Toronto-based cable channel.

"I'm taking it one day at a time,” he said. “I did not drink yesterday, I haven't drunk today."

The embattled leader of Canada’s biggest city is now working on a comeback after a two-month stint in rehab for drug and alcohol abuse. He’s up for re-election this October.

The mayor’s leadership began to crumble last year after allegations surfaced that he smoked crack, which he finally admitted he might have done during one of his “drunken stupors.”

He certainly seems to meet or exceed all the qualifications.

The pollsters have been working double-time since he came back on Monday because all of the other candidates are panicking. They still don't understand why he was elected, and everyone I know has said they'll vote for him (including some who didn't vote for him in 1010). His personal life is a train wreck, but he's been the best mayor this city has seen in more than 50 years. The minute he left for rehab, council started throwing money at all of their friends and if they keep it up then we're looking at a Ford landslide in October.
