The poor immigrant children have not been vaccinated. In the U.S., our children are only required to be vaccinated when they enter school. Which means that whatever typhoid, tuberculosis, or smallpox viruses may be spreading among our busloads of new arrivals, they present a danger to our own unvaccinated children under five.

Smallpox has been eradicated, so you don't have to worry about that one.

However, there are plenty of other diseases they could bring in, many of which cannot be prevented by vaccines.

I wish our politicians would enforce the existing laws, instead of promising amnesty and encouraging even more illegal immigration.

What is the Governor of Texas, Rick Perry doing about this? He is charged with defending the Great State of Texas.

Indeed. What I don't understand is why the leaders of these border states are acting so outraged that 0bama isn't concerned about the border crisis. They know he's a do-nothing who's hell-bent on destroying America;they need to exercise their Constitutional authority,or get the hell out of the way and let the good people of the border states take care of the problem through organized militias.

I't's not loud enough,not strong enough and not physically manifesting itself into angry,fed-up citizens by the thousands amassing in the streets. THAT's the problem.We are inactive and not proactive. The left corners the market on knee-jerk reactionary behavior,and they've raised it to an art form. Maybe we should start taking a page or two from their playbook and be more engaged and willing to step out of our comfort zones, which, by the way, are clearly getting narrower and narrower. Freepers are awesome-they certainly make a statement-but it's too small-scale. We need another million-plus showing,at the border states and all over the US,including in DC. If the Occutards can do it,we certainly can.
