Word (via twitter) just now coming in about the fight at NIKOLAYEVKA. UK forces tried to push into the town, after nearly flattening it with a big artillery barrage, and took HEAVY casualties in men and equipment. Rebels got hurt, as well.
Regarding Tymchuk’s update, as usual, Kiev seems to only report UKA casualties, not Nat Guard or militias. The Nat Guard took 30-35 dead at Izvarino(sp?) alone yesterday.
All internet and communications was cut at Lugansk in the late afternoon local, so not much is coming out of there yet. RT has two crews there, and via Twitter is promising images soon.
I’ll post the Rebel update in the morning.
Frankly, not to interested in Rebels update as their statements have constantly been gross distortions.
